Information icon Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Elio (film), please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. A genre category should match what the genre of the work is described as having in the lead section. Geraldo Perez (talk) 15:50, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

November 2024

[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Luka (Doraemon), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 11:45, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Luka (Doraemon), you may be blocked from editing. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 12:57, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Doraland, the page that you are blanking is a redirect, which automatically brings readers to another page with the actual content. I know you're blanking it because the content has been moved elsewhere, but there's no reason to do that as it should already take people to the right place. If you are doing this for a different reason or the redirect is pointing to the wrong place, please let me know and I can help you get it fixed. Tessaract2Hi! 13:01, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Disruptive editing

[edit]

Please stop with the reversions. Consensus has been that overloading categories with redirects, as these do, should be avoided. The redirects can still easily be found through their parent categories. Kung Fu Man (talk) 22:32, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please again stop. While I get your want these redirects to be seen and bring attention to the related media, there's no need for a flood of subcats. We already went through similar with the Video game project and finally got it under control there.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 22:38, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Kung did this for a good reason y'know. Just listen to him. SpinnerLaserzthe2nd (talk) 01:25, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop removing the {{Long plot}} template

[edit]

That Plot section has more than 1000 words. It should be should be between 400 and 700 words per MOS:FILMPLOT.

The template also makes the article listed in Category:Wikipedia articles with plot summary needing attention, which make it easier for other users to find and fix articles with such problem. Marlin Setia1 (talk) 22:45, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A tag has been placed on Category:Film characters introduced in 2025 indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 07:10, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it was moved to mainspace by a sockpuppet. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
