Speedy deletion nomination of User:Dicehoods

I have not received any money I was simply trying to add information on my company and it's achievements working with artist over the last 15 years in NYC. I was not aware I did something wrong to be blocked for my first post Dicehoods (talk) 15:13, 31 December 2024 (UTC)

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not an advertising platform to promote your company. As well, you may not use our company name as your user name. -- Whpq (talk) 19:11, 31 December 2024 (UTC)

You are not allowed to use your company name as a user name, and the user page you created was entirely promotional. You are welcome to contribute to Wikipedia if you intend to help create an encyclopedia. I have joined 10 years ago and never been able to add anything. wlhen I ask you say we can add stuff anytime make sure you have links for information sources aswell first time I do I'm banned. I tried to add information about a American rapper Nightime you say we only know the Horse and any information is company promotion . You can (in fact must) change your username as part of the unblock request as noted in the unblock instructions. I don't know what you mean when you state "never been able to add anything". Your account was created 10 years ago, but you have made no edits until December 31, 2024 when you edited your user page. User pages are meant to provide a little information about how you are helping to build Wikipedia, and not a place to create articles. See WP:USERPAGE. The material you provided there was completely promotional. Wording such as "after being a solo artist & part of a couple of groups, Nightime found his place in hip hop !" belong in a press release, not an encyclopedia article. See WP:NPOV, and WP:PUFFERY. If you have any relationship with a subject you plan to write about, then you have a conflict of interest. See WP:COI. Whpq (talk) 05:09, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
