Information icon Hello, I'm Rocknrollmancer. I noticed that you recently removed content from Dune (1984 film) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 17:20, 25 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of existing content and references

[edit]

You have deleted good content at Dune (1984 film) (probably twice, if you are this Florida IP address); Wikipedia does not delete one reference in preference to another. I have restored the citation and a small piece of existing prose - please do not delete it again. In version one Lynch is quoted as "I'd never read Dune before I accepted it" whereas you have shown "...he hadn't heard of the book" - really, little difference. Thank you.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 17:22, 25 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

DexterLecter, please read the Verifiability, not truth essay on the Verifiability policies., which states Editors ... may not remove sources' views from articles simply because they disagree with them. Peaceray (talk) 19:38, 25 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
