If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Gustavo Bessa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Your contributed article, Joshua Aaron

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Joshua Aaron. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Joshua Aaron (musician). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Joshua Aaron (musician) – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. — JJMC89(T·C) 04:31, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Latin American 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin America/The 10,000 Challenge ‎ has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Argentina etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Latin American content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon. If you would like to see this happening for Latin America, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Latin America, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant!♦ --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 00:32, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Diante do Trono

[edit]

I am going to assume that you and the anon are the same editor. You did not see the comments I left on that talk page. I suggest you look at them. I do not understand you, when the article is with bad English, you want to keep it that way. When article grammar is improved, you do not want to. --DavidStarIsrael7 (talk) 18:45, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@DavidStarIsrael7: I do not understand you. 1) You're using two accounts. 2) I accepted the changes you made in the prose and only kept, and fixed, the infobox and the discography tables. And there are date formatting changes. So why are you damaging the article? Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:59, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
For instance, where does Águas Purificadoras link? And Exaltado. And Por Amor de Ti, Oh Brasil? And Tua Visão. And Hillsongs? The group don't even meet the criteria of an associated act. The actual associated acts, the ones you removed both as an anon and in reverting my corrections, have been removed. The discography is supposed to be in table format, not bullets. And WP:DATEUNIFY. So many problems and you're just adding to it. Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:05, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

For the record, if I see another unconstructive edit from either you or the anon account on the article, I will leave it in-place and start a sock-puppet investigation. Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:46, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop disruptive behaviour in political articles

[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Jair Bolsonaro, you may be blocked from editing. Coltsfan (talk) 21:36, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, what you doing is considered vandalism. You see, you are removing/altering information that is backed by reliable sources. As it is said on WP:VANDAL: [Vandalism is] The malicious removal of encyclopedic content, or the changing of such content beyond all recognition, without any regard to our core content policies of neutral point of view (which does not mean no point of view), verifiability and no original research, is a deliberate attempt to damage Wikipedia.

Vandalism? Disruptive edition? I did not perform any vandalism. Neither disruptive edition. I know the rules of Wikipedia and I insist on following them and complying with them. In the article Jair Bolsonaro, the edition I made is not a vandalism, quite the contrary, what I did was add an important information and a historical fact. Please be informed before you say anything. Thank you. --DavidStarIsrael7 (talk) 22:17, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
So, i suggest you stop doing that, or you can be blocked from editing. You have been warned, so you cannot claim ignorance of the rules. Have a nice day, Coltsfan (talk) 22:22, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
About the article Brazilian military regime, may be, but my edition is correct in the article Jair Bolsonaro.

Please consider, because a reliable source will be added. --DavidStarIsrael7 (talk) 22:34, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The source you added is not a reliable one, per WP:SOURCETYPES. However, the source that currently is in the article is this one, from the Guardian, which clearly states: "Brazil’s extreme rightwing presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro might not seem an obvious mascot for a fizzy drink: he has praised the country’s military dictatorship". And the fact that the Brazilian military government was a dictatorship is hardly up for debate (sources: [1] [2] [3]). So again, you would be advised not to continue with the disruptive editing. Request reason:

I'm resorting to the blockade simply because I see no reason for it. I find it unfair, because I am a good user who for years contributed with Wikipedia, creating and investing in numerous articles. I am a hardworking user and I know my duties, I also know the rules of Wikipedia and reverence him with great honor. I simply accessed Wikipedia and forgot to log into my account, so when I edited it was just showing my IP. This is not vandal. There is no reason to block. I believe that this decision was extremely hasty and wrong.

I need my account and my IP to be unlocked so that I can re-contribute to Wikipedia as I have always done, because I am a user who has contributed a lot to Wikipedia for years. I have already created dozens of articles and invested in many. I do not think this lock is fair for an irrelevant reason and a misunderstanding.

I want to make it clear that I have no connection with the user MilenaSword1, we are only partners of Wikipedia and by coincidence we live in the same state and we are interested in contemporary Christian music.

I try to continue editing articles of my interest, such as Christian music, history, geography and poetry. Please unblock me and my IP so I can continue contributing to Wikipedia as I have always done for all those years. Thank you! --DavidStarIsrael7 (talk) 00:08, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I can't tell what you mean by "partners of Wikipedia", but "no connection" is implausible when the accounts are technically linked with one solely engaged in supporting the other in deletion discussions. Huon (talk) 00:50, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

As I said, there is no connection between me and the user MilenaSword1. Everything is based on assumption. It is true that we fight on the same side when we want to defend an article, that is true, but that we are different people with different opinions, this is also true. Anyway, I have the desire to contribute and I do not think it fair to be punished for an assumption, after all, she defends who she wants, I have nothing to do with it. I ask once more your understanding. Please unblock me. --DavidStarIsrael7 (talk) 01:27, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I have consulted with another CheckUser, and they have confirmed Drmies' findings to me. I have revoked your talk page access because of what appears to be lying to us in two unblock attempts. If you want to further appeal this block at this time, your best option would be to email the Arbitration Committee at arbcom-l@lists.wikimedia.org TonyBallioni (talk) 02:36, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again.
