Doug Weller talk 12:55, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Did you saw the link that I sent you? David8374 (talk) 13:18, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No link and you spelled Behar wrong but I guess you are referring to Beta Israel. We use the language of the source which you can read here.[1] That doesn't mention Cushite, and does say "the Beta Israel "cluster with neighbouring autochthonous populations in Ethiopia and western India, respectively, despite a clear paternal link between the Bene Israel and the Levant." We can't interpret or add to that.
Are you the editor who has been editing logged out? Do you have other accounts (note that it is technically possible to check all this, and I'm one of the few who can do that, but I'd probably ask another WP:Administrator to do it as I'm involved in the article). This interpreting and changing sourced text really needs to stop. Please. Doug Weller talk 13:30, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

And also why didn't you quote the full quote which talkd about both the Ethiopian Jews and the Indian jews. Here is the full quote. Please put that

"(Beta Israel) and Indian Jews (Bene Israel and Cochini) cluster with neighbouring autochthonous populations in Ethiopia and western India, respectively, despite a clear paternal link between the Bene Israel and the Levant."

David8374 (talk) 13:44, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Changed it to "Ethiopian Jews (Beta Israel) and Indian Jews (Bene Israel and Cochini) cluster with neighbouring autochthonous populations in Ethiopia and western India, respectively, despite a clear paternal link between the Bene Israel and the Levant. These results cast light on the variegated genetic architecture of the Middle East, and trace the origins of most Jewish Diaspora communities to the Levant." Doug Weller talk 14:01, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. But this study also say that the Ethiopian jews are closer to the semetic- speaking Rather than the chusite speaking Ethiopians. Read the full article please! Not just the summary. David8374 (talk) 14:08, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please quote the bit about "Chusite". And if by summary you mean the conclusion at the end, that's what we should use. Rarely would we use the abstract at the top because that isn't always written by the authors. Doug Weller talk 14:27, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

According to the study, Here is the full quote: "The Ethiopian jews clustered with Semitic-speaking rather than cushitic-speaking Ethiopias." David8374 (talk) 14:41, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

if you have a Twitter account I can completely sent it to you as a screen shot. David8374 (talk) 14:47, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I don't give out that sort of detail about me, never a good idea. Can't you just post the link on my talk page? Or email me, that doesn't give out my email address. Doug Weller talk 15:14, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What is yout Emile? David8374 (talk) 15:34, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

See my talk page. Doug Weller talk 15:36, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see your emile there. Can't you just write to me what is your email? David8374 (talk) 15:58, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

At the top of my talk page it says "You can email me from this link but in the interests of Wiki-transparency, please message me on this page unless there are pressing reasons to do otherwise." Click on "this link". Doug Weller talk 16:02, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

OMG! Buddy I swear that I checked all options there and I can't see your email! Can't you just send me your email ( or even a fake email address ) so I can send you the source already?! David8374 (talk) 16:12, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It tell me that "You must be logged in and have a valid authenticated email address in your preferences to send email to other users." But it doesn't let me see your email. David8374 (talk) 17:00, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@David8374that is because you haven’t set up an email address. If you lose your password without one you can’t get your account back. Post a link on my talk page. Doug Weller talk 17:27, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I already sent you the link on the talk page many times! But you told me that you don't see it. David8374 (talk) 17:47, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you mean the link to the Behar article, I read it days ago. Doug Weller talk 17:54, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well if you read it, than you would have saw the quote in the article when it said - "the Ethiopian Jews are cluster with semetic-speaking rather than scientific-speaking Ethiopians." David8374 (talk) 17:57, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rather than cushitic-speaking* David8374 (talk) 17:59, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

And the quote in the article says “ Ethiopian Jews (Beta Israel) and Indian Jews (Bene Israel and Cochini) cluster with neighbouring autochthonous populations in Ethiopia and western India, respectively, despite a clear paternal link between the Bene Israel and the Levant. These results cast light on the variegated genetic architecture of the Middle East, and trace the origins of most Jewish Diaspora communities to the Levant.” Doug Weller talk 18:06, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I can add that tomorrow. I’m deleting your address, I don’t need it. Doug Weller talk 18:13, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

But this is not the full!! If you read the full article of the "genome-wide structure of the Jewish people" it literally sayin that the Ethiopian jews are cluster with semetic-speaking Ethiopians rather than the cushitic-speaking Ethiopians. David8374 (talk) 18:22, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Read the full article of the "genome-wide structure of the Jewish people" (that was published in the year 2010)

It literally saying that the Ethiopian jews clustered with Semitic-speaking Ethiopians rather than cushitic-speaking Ethiopians. David8374 (talk) 18:27, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I said I’d add it tomorrow. Doug Weller talk 18:32, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok David8374 (talk) 23:41, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
