Adding wikilinks
[edit]Hi and welcome! I hope you don't mind some tips on adding wiki-links.
- Wikilinks usually only need to be added to the first occurrence of a term: it's not necessary to link a term whenever it occurs.
- Wikilinks should be relevant to the sense in which a word is being used. If "Khalili" is being used to refer to the person Nasser Khalili, it's wrong to link it to the Khalili Collections.
- Wikilinks should go to a page which has a clear, unambiguous topic. Note that at the top of Khalili it says it's a disambiguation page with links to different uses of that word. We shouldn't wiki-link to disambiguation pages.
Finally, if you want to make test edits to explore how to make links and citations, don't do it in an article. Your own sandbox is there for you to make test edits in. All the best with your assignment: you're studying a fascinating topic! MartinPoulter (talk) 15:58, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
