Please use edit summaries
[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! --Rocknrollmancer (talk) 01:57, 18 April 2022 (UTC)

Ways to improve Ash Hand
[edit]Hello, DRYT.Motorsport,
Thank you for creating Ash Hand.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
This article needs more references in order to provide significant coverage for this article. See WP:SIGCOV
References that have scores, lists, order of merit and video do not pass as reliable sources for WP:NSPORT. (There have been changes to the notability guide for sports - you may wish to read WP:NSPORT ) To meet notability requirements, one more reference with significant coverage will suffice. Thank you
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}
. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Thank you. I am planning to add a “biography” section to the page like I have done with other pages, such as George Gamble (racing driver) which you also reviewed. This will add more references, which hopefully can make the page notable enough. DRYT.Motorsport (talk) 09:18, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Levente Révész
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Levente Révész requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Levente Révész. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. [edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Daniel Roose, from its old location at User:DRYT.Motorsport. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:12, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- Please do not work on article drafts on your main User and User talk pages. They are likely to be deleted so I moved the content to Draft space. Liz Read! Talk! 01:12, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
Hi there, that article is not supposed to be a draft or an article for creation. That is supposed to be my user page because the subject is me. DRYT.Motorsport (talk) 08:48, 9 June 2022 (UTC)

2022 Mini Challenge Trophy
[edit]Hello! As I see, some days ago the page 2022 Mini Challenge UK was turned into redirect itself. So, page 2022 Mini Challenge Trophy become a double redirect and that's why my bot processed it. ~---- Emaus (talk) 20:59, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
Ah okay, it was a mistake on my end as I didn’t actually realise that 2022 Mini Challenge Trophy had been turned into a redirect, thanks! DRYT.Motorsport (talk) 06:33, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
George Gamble
[edit]I can see that you've been making changes regarding the amount of damage to the house Gamble's vehicle impacted, insisting the whole cottage was demolished. Not so; this is one instance where the source is unreliable. Only the end elevation and stack was rebuilt - still substantial works, though. In this instance, I can side with the Nottinghamshire IPs, where WP:AGF applies. I followed this at the time, but only today found the article.
The Google Streetview clearly shows where the side-elevation new brickwork was stitched-in to the old, on the driveway side, around the window frame area. They've also sympathetically positioned the new pantiles to the rear.
My nextdoor neighbour's garage and car have twice been demolished similarly during police chases. Thanks.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 20:15, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
I apologise, I trusted an untrustworthy source. You’ll notice I haven’t challenged the most recent edit against it, I’ve realised it wasn’t true. Thank you, happy editing! DRYT.Motorsport (talk) 20:22, 10 November 2022 (UTC)

- GA Melbourne (talk) 14:35, 22 January 2023 (UTC)Clemens Schmid moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Clemens Schmid, is not suitable as written to remain published. While it appears to be notable, it needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. There are large sections which are wholly uncited. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. I did this rather than removing the uncited material in the article, which I felt would be more disruptive. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask on my talk page. When you have the required sourcing (and every assertion needs a source), and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Or feel free to ping me to take another look.Onel5969 TT me 10:50, 4 March 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "DRYT.Motorsport", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it gives the implication that this account is operated by a Motorsport company, rather than an individual user. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:41, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hello. That implication was not the intent, and I simply included ‘motorsport’ in my name because that was the section of Wikipedia I intended to mainly edit, motorsports. I now see how this could be misinterpreted, and I have completed the Special:GlobalRenameRequest form. DRYT.Motorsport (talk) 15:53, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
- Sounds good! I don't think there's a big issue with your current username since you haven't edited anything to make it seem like your username is meant to represent a group, but figured I'd tell you here just in case. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:57, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
