RfA

I don't know if you're ready yet. I'm liking what I see so far. You seem to be good at writing articles, although it might be best to spread your wings. Get involved in deletion discussions, try to push something to GA or better, fight vandalism, etc. You've only been here since April, and many users might consider you too new. Warfarin

Thanks for nominating warfarin as a GA candidate. Does this mean that you will be implementing any recommendations made by the GA reviewer? I can certainly help, but my core pharmacology skills might be insufficient if its gets tricky. JFW | T@lk 22:59, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your message. I'll keep an eye on the article and will try to assist. You may also want to inform Fvasconcellos (talk · contribs), who has participated a lot in its expansion. JFW | T@lk 19:49, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for reviewing the Bates method article. I think, though, that we need more details regarding what improvements could be made. I'm curious, did you look at the sources? Most of them are available online and linked to in the citations. Recent controversies have surrounded the way the sources are being used in the article, so looking at them would be an essential part of determining whether it now qualifies as GA. PSWG1920 (talk) 03:05, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

I've linked to a few talk page discussions relevant to the points you made here, and also explained why I don't think adding more pictures would really improve the article. And if you're uncertain of where to go from here, you could request a second opinion (not trying to nag you, just making sure you know the option exists.) PSWG1920 (talk) 03:22, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
I'd also like to comment on "Add a few more pictures". Might I suggest that this remark, without further comment, is rather unhelpful? If you said what pictures, where from and why, that would be a real contribution. SamuelTheGhost (talk) 12:38, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Shaq

You do realize that most notable artists have their own discography page right, (Example Ice Cube discography, Dr. Dre discography, etc) Shaq has released 4 studio albums, each of which has made it to the billboard charts, as well as a number of singles that have also charted. Live and Die 4 Hip Hop (talk) 22:35, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

The image ended up getting deleted anyway. Can you please move to restore? As you noted, it is a logo, and rationale falls under the logo template. Wjmummert (KA-BOOOOM!!!!) 18:42, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Help me-Bot

{{helpme}} Hi, I have a template (User:Cssiitcic/Templates/Parafon Forte Message), that I want to distribute to all WikiProject Pharmacology members. Is there a bot that can do this? And if not, can someone make one for me? Thanks!--Cssiitcic (talk) 20:41, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

RE:Parafon Forte

I fully support the merge of Parafon Forte into Chlorzoxazone, and I doubt there will be any opposition to it. Check out my response on Talk:Chlorzoxazone. See also: Dimenhydrinate, Vicodin (both are legitimate articles for combination drugs), Paracetamol/metoclopramide (should probably be merged), Isosorbide dinitrate/hydralazine (needs cleanup), Chlorpheniramine_and_phenylpropanolamine#Combination_medications (a merge I was involved with)... etc. Fuzzform (talk) 03:01, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

RE: Acc tool

Quite simply, no. You are fairly new to the tool and we really don't need new admins currently, so you can't be a tool admin. FunPika 22:28, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Help Me

{{helpme}} I can't get Friendly to work, can someone install it for me. I tried importing the javascript and checking the friendly check on the gadget tab in my preferences. Please help me. Thanks!Cssiitcic (talk) 20:38, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Rationales

If you prod an article, you should always provide a reason. Go look at Nick Higgs again. DS (talk) 02:17, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Qualitest

Well, sorry I didn't notice that you had received no notice by the editor who tagged the article. Qualitest was tagged and deleted per WP:CSD#A7 because the article or stub did not indicate how or why the drug manufacturer is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Actually there was only one sentence and a product list both sourced to the company's own website.

If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Please check out also our criteria for companies. Hope that helps. --Tikiwont (talk) 08:59, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Jcguitar

I guess I'm confused - I thought on the FAQ about creating your [[1]] it said you could create that page as a sub page on your user page (which I thought I had created?) and then move it live when ready.

I was writing the first draft and going to add the references after the text was correct - but it was deleted before I could finish?

I guess I need to draft in Word or something lame like that and when completely finished only then can I move it to Wikipedia?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Proposed Deletion of C&A Industries

Last week the article was fine. Today you say that C&A is not relevant. I disagree. That company employs over 450 people in Omaha, NE, which is a huge part of the local economy. Please look at other company articles (NetShops, etc) and tell me why their articles are acceptable and mine is not. I plan to add quite a few Omaha business articles so it would be good for me to know how to satisfy every editor here which is evidently what I need to do considering that (as I mentioned before) the article was fine last week, but now you feel it should be deleted.

Accessomaha (talk) 12:23, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

It's not a race…

Please don't tag pages for deletion four minutes after they're created, as you did here, except in the cases of vandalism, attack pages, or obvious copyright violation. Not only does it waste the time of the admins who have to remove the {{db}} tags from the pages you tag, it's disruptive in that it has the potential to drive potential contributors away from Wikipedia if the "welcome" they get is their potentially valid page being immediately tagged for deletion. This is certainly not to say you shouldn't do new page patrol, but please be careful not to overuse deletion templates. – [[User:Iridescent|iride:

But that page qualifies for section A7 of the CSD, it was about a non-notable person, so i tagged it. Is that not what I am supposed to do?Cssiitcic (talk) 22:04, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
No, not straight away; the problem with CSD is that it denies the author the chance to validate the article. Sometimes articles that we think are obvious deletes are not obvious deletes in the eyes of the person who wrote the article. By giving the author a chance to prove the value of the article, we give the author an education in Wikipedia. We also give the author the sense that they had a chance to save the article, as compared to being the victim of a lone gun vigilante. If one or even two people tell you that your article is garbage and should be deleted, it comes across as strong-armed idiots. If, however, you are taken to AfD and a number of people collaborate on the verdict, it becomes more tolerable. It also becomes a "fair" system.
Read WP:BITE and Balloonman's essay for more on the topic. Basically, CSDA7 is for "Hi my name is Bob" vanity pages, not for potentially valid pages. – iridescent 22:26, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Warfarin

Ragesoss (talk · contribs) has reviewed warfarin. I'll see what I can do to help, but would you be able to start implementing the suggestions? JFW | T@lk 02:23, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Again, it would be useful if you could participate in the GAC process. JFW | T@lk 00:18, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

why deleted?

hey you just deleted my last article/posting. can you give me some reason as to why? you also said you were going to block me from making edits.. again can you please explain why? thank you! VeryMickey (talk) 21:50, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Erie War

I'm very curious what led you to call Erie War an "inappropriate page" and tell its author that creating it was "not in accordance with our policies". The only problem with the article that I could see is that we already had a more complete and referenced one at Erie Gauge War. - Nunh-huh 01:11, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

But the Erie Gauge War of 1853-54 over the rail gauge(s) to be used is quite different from the Erie War of 1866-68 for control of the railroad between financiers Cornelius Vanderbilt and the Drew/Fisk/Gould trio (who won). NB: Re gauges see my Rail gauge in North America. Hugo999 (talk) 01:22, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

No, it was no trouble, I was really just curious. Was it that you thought it was so improbable it was probably a hoax? - Nunh-huh 23:17, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
