Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Cryptofenrir, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Cryptofenrir/sandbox, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Cryptofenrir/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello. The page I created was not made with promotional purposes, it was just a biography of a memecoin trader that has just become famous in the crypto and blockchain space. Cryptofenrir (talk) 21:09, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
{{Admin help}} Cryptofenrir (talk) 21:13, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You don't need to use the "Admin help" template, as your matter is not of urgent importance. Try using the {{Help me}} template instead (and omit the "nowiki" tags, as they stop the template from being rendered).
I can't see the deleted content because I am not an administrator. However, the admin who deleted it felt this was justified under the G11 criteria for speedy deletion (unambiguous advertising or promotion). Such a page would be fundamentally unsalvageable and need a complete rewrite.
Please be aware that not every subject is suitable for a Wikipedia article. We have notability criteria that must be met to merit inclusion. In the specific case of a person, there are notability criteria for people. And an article for a person who is currently alive must conform to the strict requirements of the policy for biographies of living persons. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 22:07, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, sorry for that, it is my first time here.
I understand, but honestly there was not any advertising or promotion purpose on that, but I will rewrite it again.
Thanks, have a good day! Cryptofenrir (talk) 09:15, 29 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Cryptofenrir, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.
