Edit warring
[edit]Hi Cramerwiki! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Kenny Pickett several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Kenny Pickett, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. BullDawg2021 (talk) 05:57, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
Wiki commons photos
[edit]Hi Cramerwiki, thanks for adding the photos of Steelers players to Commons (e.g., this one of Spencer Anderson)! I'm wondering if you could add more information in the description on the Commons page about the photos. Information about what game it was, what day it was taken, etc. can be helpful to further categorize your photos on that side of Wikipedia. --Engineerchange (talk) 13:56, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 31
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kenny Pickett, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mason Rudolph. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Pickett
[edit]Pickett in not in shape or form competing with Hurts. Not one of those sources (which are blogs) say he was. Use common sense, a horrid QB bust was not competing with a dude who just signed a huge extension and led the team to a Super Bowl. Yankees10 19:32, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
- He originally was yes, as those articles state. They are refutable sources, including sports illustrated. Wikipedia articles are not meant to be passion projects, every time and edit is reverted there needs to be concise reasoning not just pointing at your head and twirling your finger like the other editor is crazy. Cramerwiki (talk) 19:50, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
- Another thing, watch your language. Second time I’ve seen your name with foul language being used when reverting edits. Get a grip, stop acting like a little kid. Cramerwiki (talk) 20:34, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
Request
[edit]Hello. When placing new information on articles, please expand your references to show the authors, source/access dates/article title/URL if possible. I recommend a tool like ProveIt or Citer. The reason being is that it makes existing reference lists look clunky and disorganized. Also, if possible, please do not rely on StatMuse so much as it is a paid service in regard to full capabilities. There are plenty of free primary news sources out there. This is just advice from my end. Red Director (talk) 21:38, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
Jalen Hurts 2024 section
[edit]Yo you don't have to do this but if you can start Jalen Hurts' 2024 section it'd be appreciated. HappyBoi3892 (talk) 23:41, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- No problem. I will get right on it. Cramerwiki (talk) 00:15, 19 November 2024 (UTC)

December 2024
[edit]Hello, I'm Hey man im josh. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Chuck Noll seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. It's very clear you're a Steelers fan in your writings, so work on toning it back. There's far too much WP:PUFFERY and unsourced elements being added to various articles, as well as over doing it with images. Hey man im josh (talk) 19:16, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
- I hear you but I think you're also incorrectly attributing those edits to me. Everything I've added has sources, compare my recent edit to the previous one and you'll see that is not my work (I assume you're talking about the edits to Noll's page). Also, images are encouraged on bare pages. One or two per season is the norm, look at any other players' pages. Cramerwiki (talk) 19:38, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
- I am sorry, I was incorrect about the lumps of unsourced text. I do however stand by there being too many images at times when it starts pushing in and disrupting other sections. Hey man im josh (talk) 20:15, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
- As much as I understand your position, I am keeping with the standard set by other athletes’ pages. It’s not a slight against you, but there’s a clear standard when it comes to NFL players’ wiki pages and it’s usually one per season. Cramerwiki (talk) 20:34, 10 December 2024 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on T. J. Watt. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Hey man im josh (talk) 21:35, 10 December 2024 (UTC)

It's nice that you've uploaded photos, but you need to stop edit warring to add photos you've uploaded to articles related to the Pittsburgh Steelers. When your additional are contested, as they have been, the onus is on you to start a discussion about whether it makes sense to add the related media. You're not being reverted for no reason. Hey man im josh (talk) 20:56, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- That is not how this works. If you want to contest, you start a discussion. Otherwise, five photos is not too much for the bland wall of text being left behind. Cramerwiki (talk) 21:04, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Cramerwiki: That is exactly how it works. See WP:BRD. You don't try to go back and forth repeatedly to get your way, in the hopes the other person just gives up. You're pushing images that you've uploaded, additions that were contested. You've added them to the article at least four times now, and you've done this elsewhere as well. Bluntly, you're making pages look absolutely ridiculous by forcing blurry images, pictures of the back of people's heads, and making articles look like magazines. These pages are far worse now to view on mobile than they were before being bombarded with unnecessary image additions that don't add anything of value. Hey man im josh (talk) 21:07, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- Leaving an article as just a wall of text is, quite frankly, an extreme eye sore. No one will read the article if there aren't visuals paired with it. If my images are so detrimental because I'm "forcing blurry images, pictures of the back of people's heads" then I welcome you to upload your own images. I have taken thousands of images of the Steelers over the course of 40 years, dozens of them that I have allowed to go into the public domain here, I take pride in my work and resent that statement. Cramerwiki (talk) 21:20, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- It's the opposite... I won't read pages with too many images that ruin the layout and are of poor quality. Please slow it down and be more reasonable with your image usage. If someone says your behaviour is disruptive, you shouldn't press forward without a care in the world. I'm not saying this stuff just to say it, I'm saying it because I genuinely think your obsession with adding way too many of your own images to articles is making the articles you care about worse.
