Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of foreign Chinese Super League players, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Márcio Santos (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Edits on Chinese Football Clubs

[edit]

Hi, I notice you have added back a number of lists of "notable players" to Chinese football clubs. Please note that the reason these were removed is because they lacked any form of clear inclusion criteria. Such criteria are required by the Manual of Style. Please do not revert these again without adding clear reasons why players make the list. Fenix down (talk) 15:14, 16 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Beijing Guoan F.C., did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Stats in football players' infoboxes

[edit]

Hi, when you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the |pcupdate= (or |club-update=) parameter. This shows when the stats were last updated and prevents editors from accidentally updating the stats again. Thank you. --Jaellee (talk) 15:08, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please remember to update the time stamp also for international appearances and goals (|ntupdate=). --Jaellee (talk) 16:29, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

you don't have any proof that he has retired from the Brazilian national team (he is only 25 years old), but you win, I don't care anymore and don't want edit wars, remove the dash.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. [edit]

Please refrain from reverting edits unless you have a source to back them up. As my edit stated his transfer had not been confirmed by either Hearts or the chinese club. You reverted on 22 February at 06.55 GMT and his transfer was confirmed on 23 February at 13.21 Chinese time. Even with the 8 hour time difference your edit was unverified for around 22 hours. This is not acceptable as all content on wikipedia must be correct and verifiable.Blethering Scot 20:02, 23 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Federico Piovaccari's transfer

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Matthew hk. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Federico Piovaccari, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. I can read Chinese, can you give me the news of the transfer so that i can add to the article? Matthew_hk tc 09:43, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in List of foreign Chinese Super League players. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please see MOS:HEAD, which states "headings should not contain images, such as flag icons". A discussion also took place on WT:FOOTY, so please refrain from violating the MOS and accessibility guidelines. S.A. Julio (talk) 17:08, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at John Obi Mikel.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Please refer to #Stats in football players' infoboxes. Mattythewhite (talk) 02:26, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

List of foreign Chinese Super League players

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at List of foreign Chinese Super League players shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:15, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not keep adding flag icons to the section headings of List of foreign Chinese Super League players because this is not something allowed per MOS:HEAD. There are more details in Talk:List of foreign Chinese Super League players#Flag icons in section headings as to why the community has decided against doing such a thing, but in a nut shell adding images such as flag icons to section headings creates accessibility problems for visually impaired people who use Wikipedia. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask them on the article's talk page or even at WT:MOS. You've been already advised that this is a problem and asked not to do this a number of times in both edit sums and talk page posts, so I will start a discussion at WP:AN3 about your disruptive editing and edit warring, and ask an administrator to intervene and take appropriate action the next time you re-add the icons. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:27, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for edit warring.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Yunshui  09:59, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Since you have persisted in your refusal to communicate with other editors and discuss your changes, this block is indefinite - until you demonstrate that you understand the issues being raised and are willing to engage in discussion, you may no longer edit here.
