[edit]Please carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.--NeilN talk to me 21:14, 2 May 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did to George Soros, especially if it involves living persons. Thank you. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 20:52, 17 December 2017 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add defamatory content, you may be blocked from editing. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 21:36, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
Censoring your living-person's own message is more disruptive, unless your own culture made you like that. --Costhee (talk) 07:08, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
Open Society Foundations
[edit]Hi there. I have reverted your edits to the Open Society Foundations article because they were not supported by a reliable source; none of the linked articles (all of which go to the OSF's own website) describe it as part of the BDS movement. Do not add material to articles without a reliable source. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 23:25, 17 December 2017 (UTC)

[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Aleksandr Dugin. If you think Executive Intelligence Review is a reliable source for BLP's then please give your head a shake. --NeilN talk to me 02:59, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
When it is the only source of an input it should not be censored; it's the boomerang effect. As a 'source' it should be evaluated only by the number of publishing languages and estimated audience statistics, and not by content. Content should only place it in a category, such as right-wing or 'conspiracy theorists' etc. --Costhee (talk) 07:15, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Alexandr Dugin.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Alexandr Dugin.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:16, 21 December 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Sources needed for Days of the Year pages
[edit]You're probably not aware of this change, but Days of the Year pages now require direct sources for additions. For details see the content guideline, the WikiProject Days of the Year style guide or the edit notice on any DOY page. Almost all new additions without references are now being reverted on-sight.
Please do not add new additions to these pages without direct sources as the burden to provide them is on the editor who adds or restores material to these pages.
Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 00:35, 21 December 2019 (UTC)
Got it. Thanks. --Costhee (talk) 00:40, 21 December 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Doug Weller talk 17:07, 21 December 2019 (UTC)
