Message to myself

[edit]

Thank you for reverting vandalism to Wikipedia, which you did in foo. After you revert, I would recommend also warning the users whose edits you revert on their talk pages with an appropriate template or custom message. This will serve to direct new users towards the sandbox, educate them about Wikipedia, and a stern warning to a vandal may prevent him or her from vandalizing again. Thank you. Complex (de) 18:51, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Isoko

[edit]

Hello. Why did you revert my edit to Isoko? Picaroon 22:57, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps by mistake, so I restored your version. I ask you to add the "lost" information to the Isoko North and Isoko South. --Complex (de) 23:03, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Award

The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
I hereby award you this Barnstar for your tireless efforts in fighting vandals Speed Air Man 10:59, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your efforts in fighting vandals. I'm sorry if I looked like one this morning. I was just starting out on the article and had made a mistake.Kgrr 12:26, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It did not look like vandalism, it looked - as you said - as a mistake. Greetings --Complex (de) 12:50, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NPA?

[edit]

Hi - Got your message regarding WP:NPA... did you mean to post that for someone else? Regards, MackSalmon 14:42, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So what was rm troll supposed to mean then? --Complex (de) 15:59, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your VandalProof Application

[edit]

Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Complex (de). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that:

You have not yet been actively editing Wikipedia for long enough (> 1 month).

Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. Ale_Jrbtalk 17:23, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my user/talk page recently. Mr Stephen 21:43, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. I hope you don't mind that I let your user page to be semi-protected. --Complex (de) 15:56, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Look Tiger

[edit]

I am the victim some creep erased all the information (which i asure you is accurate i checked with reliable source's) and some INSANE CREEP erased it all how RUDE why are you not writing them mean letter? is that not against the rules to erase accurate stuff????? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tweetsabird (talkcontribs) --Complex (de) 18:24, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't really know what you're talking about, but your account blanked the page. Please check if your password is safe. --Complex (de) 18:24, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The person doing the blanking is the original submitter. Based on previous conversation, yesterday was when the Ontario Tories were to decide whether to nominate her or another candidate for a provincial parliament seat, and I assume from the blanking that she didn't get it (can't find verification myself). Best to leave the article blank and let it get G7-speedied, methinks, since it fails notability if she didn't get the nod. --Finngall talk 18:05, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, okay. Thanks for the information. Since this speedy deletion tag has already been removed twice, I better don't do this. --Complex (de) 18:10, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If the submitter blanks it again, I'll speedy-tag it, otherwise I'll prod-tag it when I either hear back fom the submitter or find independent confirmation of the nomination results. --Finngall talk 18:21, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Greetings --Complex (de) 18:25, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you?

For this. Greetings --Complex (talk) 21:35, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, no worries at all :) Thanks for the note! --65.113.102.66 (talk) 01:06, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection?

[edit]

Would you like your user and talk pages semi-protected for awhile? If so, leave me a note and I will do enable it for you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:32, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: I didn't realize until now how long the vandalism has been going on until now. You must have really annoyed somebody. =) Since the user talk vandalism has been going on for so long, I don't think semi-protection will be very effective. He will just wait until it expires and come right back. Since it doesn't bother you, I left your talk page as is. However, I did semi-protect your user page indefinitely. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:32, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, fine (I just reply here and hope you read it as I always use to - I was just not too sure what leave me a note implied) - thank you! The guy is a persistent cross-wiki vandal (this was last week), so the best way is usually to let some steward (if available) lock these accounts globally on meta. Greetings --Complex (talk) 18:53, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
