US Propaganda Tool?
Clearbot deleted a sourced excerpt here from an article in the Guardian, clearly recognizable. I don't think that there could be a piece of text that could be identified as non-vandalism any easier. Is this done on Purpose? If not, the tool should be shut down until this serious error is fixed. 91.10.45.112 (talk) 20:33, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- This tool is an anti-vandalism bot. The editor who added it included words that are found in many vandalism edits, so naturally the bot might've thought the edit was potentially unconstructive. Because the bot is extremely complex (see its userpage for details), it has to make a few mistakes here and there in order to be effective at all. What might be constructive to a human might not be for a robot. The same goes for email spam filters, which make mistakes all the time. To report a revert that was made in error, please use WP:CBNGFP. There's no need to shut the bot down, and in fact more harm might come out of shutting the bot down for one mistake than it is to let ten nonconstructive edits escape into the encyclopedia. --I am k6ka Talk to me! Cluebot III not running since 20:53 UTC, 5 January 2015

A quick look at ClueBot III's contributions shows a last entry of the above date. I'm surprised the bot's had no work to do yesterday, and it sounds like a server somewhere may need a prod. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 14:19, 7 January 2015 (UTC)

- @Ritchie333 and 5 albert square: According to WP:ARCHIVE,
ClueBot III does not appear to run every single day.
Probably not an issue. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 21:47, 7 January 2015 (UTC)- Thanks for the explanation @K6ka:. Appreciated--5 albert square (talk) 23:29, 7 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Ritchie333 and 5 albert square: According to WP:ARCHIVE,
- My interpretation of that link is that Cluebot will not necessarily archive a specific talk page daily (which makes sense). That doesn't imply that it will not archive any talk pages on any day. Indeed, looking back at the contributions there are many entries for every day up to January 5, then an abrupt stop. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 11:10, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- Well it's back now, that's the main thing--5 albert square (talk) 22:49, 8 January 2015 (UTC)

IP Version 6 Reverts
When ClueBot reverts edits made by IP editors with IPv6 addresses, the revert number seems to be cut off. See [1] as an example. Is there a way to fix this? meamemg (talk) 03:07, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Meamemg: Edit summaries have a limited number of characters. Basically, the issue is in the way Wikipedia is built. The only fix (I can see) would be to reduce the edit summary of ClueBot. -- Orduin ⋠T⋡ 20:27, 11 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Orduin: I realize that. I just think since that is necessary for someone to report a false positive, it is important that it be available on the page where the revert was made. Perhaps moving the number earlier in the edit summary would help. meamemg (talk) 03:36, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Meamemg: The revert ID is included in the warning ClueBot NG gives on the user talk page, so that isn't a problem. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 16:08, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

ClueBot NG has been down since 18:00 UTC. The maintenance was aborted 2 hours later so the bot needs to be restarted. Yngvadottir (talk) 22:04, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Rich Smith: are you still able to restart CBNG?--5 albert square (talk) 22:28, 15 January 2015 (UTC)

Hi everyone
OK, I'm trying to report this false positive. However, when I click on the link to enter the revert ID, I get a 404 error message? @Rich Smith: @DamianZaremba: @Cobi: are you guys aware of this?--5 albert square (talk) 00:35, 18 January 2015 (UTC)
- Restarted the webservice on tools. Should be back. - Damian Zaremba (talk • contribs) 17:09, 18 January 2015 (UTC)

- Hello
- Please note that ClueBot is a robot, not a human, therefore cannot respond to queries.
- If you are just here to upload images, you can make a request at Wikipedia:Files for upload for non-free images. If it's for a free image, you can upload that to Wikimedia Commons--5 albert square (talk) 09:32, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
ClueBot Reporting Site
Site was down due to a server collapse at Labs, this has now been recovered and the site is back up :) - RichT|C|E-Mail 21:25, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
Source tags unrecognised
Please fix ClueBot III so that it treats the <source>...</source>
markup like <pre>...</pre>
or <nowiki>...</nowiki>
- that is, something that encloses content that should not be treated as wikimarkup. Mooreover, such enclosed code must not be split up, which is what the bot managed to do with this edit - it moved the first half of the thread headed == Section headers in collapse boxes ==
and did not move the second half until this edit - and in the meantime, it also dropped several unrelated threads between the two halves. I fixed it by moving the first half down to be in its proper place again. --Redrose64 (talk) 23:03, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
Cee Lo Green
Hi there its Zafiraman, on the talk page of 74.12.192.252, you warned the IP of a vandalism / unconstructive edit on CeeLo Green, the vandalism on the page says and he's black where as in your warning it says and and you're black, please could you check this and change it, if you think I made a mistake then please let me know at my talk page Thanks! Zafiraman Lets talk about it 23:50, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Zafiraman: Hi there. I've reverted the edit on the talk page. Please remember that ClueBot NG is a robot and can't do things outside of its code, such as revert edits outside the main (article) namespace. If you see something that's really inappropriate, you can always undo it yourself. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 11:48, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
