- In all honesty, I don't want to involve myself any further. The only reason I got involved was due to the user's aggressive comment left on another editor's talk page. I've had enough experience to sense that there was more to it than simply breaching CIVIL and NPA. As it stands, I'm one of those gluttons for punishment who works in the most controversial areas of Wikipedia: true ARBCOM sanction territory from Eastern Europe, to the Balkans, to the Middle East. The last thing I need on my plate is more of the same. Best of luck in keeping your nose clean! Friendly advice
Please do not advise editors that they can use WP:UNDELETE to request that pages that have been nominated for speedy deletion as you did here. This is against process and only causes more work for the adminstrators (and volunteers) to procedurally decline the request because the page is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions or rejected Articles for creation drafts), or in "articles for deletion" debates with little or no participation other than the nominator
which does not apply in the case of the article you contacted Ememasco about (which was CSD:A7). If this bad advice continues, I will raise it as a concern to the administrators that regularly process the requests to determine if corrective action is warranted. - @DashaG11: Hi Dasha. I'd advise you to take a look at the policy pages, such as those on reliable, secondary sources. I see there are references added, so that's a good first step. The next step would be making those into inline citations, so readers can verify any claims made. Also, try to expand the article beyond a list of features, such as adding in what the media is saying about the product. Notability is a big part of Wikipedia. Hi, Cody I would appreciate if you can help me removing a particular picture in the article "Korea under Japanese rule." I can assure you that the picture of President Park Chung Hee posing as a Japanese officer is intended to undermine his and his daughter's--who is currently presiding over Korea--reputation. Explaining the entire story will be very difficult, but I will try to provide a sketch. The reason I believe so, and am quite convinced, is that, as you can clearly see from the title of the article in question, Koreans still hold a grudge against Japanese people. As a twentysomething adult who have spent a fair part of my life in Korea, the anger towards the Japanese is hardwired into our systems. The leftist parties in Korea have often used this hatred in instigating the public in order to gain political power. The current president of Korea is Park Geun Hae, who is the daughter of Park Chung Hee, the youth in the picture (which also "happens" to have his Japanese name in the caption). It is likely that for whatever reason, whoever put the picture in the article, which I think is absolutely unnecessary, has a certain political ulterior in deciding to do so.

Some edits that you made this morning
I'm sorry, but there seems to be a problem with the edits you made to Lady Day, Fiscal year and Use (law). In the first article, you added the information that after the calendar change in 1752 Old Lady Day was 6 April. In point of fact, if you check the Calendar (New Style) Act 1750, you will see that eleven days were omitted. Setting a time line:
March 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 April 1 2 3 4 5 +0 +1 +2 +3 +4 +5 +6 +7 +8 +9 +10 +11
So Old Lady Day was 5 April.
In the second article you said that landlords and tax officials took advantage of the change to collect eleven days early. In fact that same Act of Parliament provided that the dates of collection should be retarded eleven days so that this did not happen.
In the third article, you said that in setting up a trust a property owner would transfer his property to the trustee on the basis that the trustee would transfer it to his children after his death. What is your source for that claim? Normally, someone who wanted to leave his property to someone other than the eldest son would set up a trust on the basis that he would continue to live in it until his death, when it would pass to his heirs. If the system were as you describe the trustee would move in so where would the family go? Are you expecting them to buy another house? The RitB, is a specific sort of malware, describing the group of malware likes Dyre, Dridex and others, unlike simply talking about Remote Acess Administrator, which is more general and describe what RAT is all about.

- @DDavisDDavis: You're quite welcome. As far as new pages go, I'd suggest heading to Articles for Creation. Experienced editors there can assist you in building a page according to Wikipedia's guidelines. Keep in mind that you'll need a lot of unbiased news sources to establish notability for an article (see WP:42). At the time you started the RfC of Homo naledi - it was probably unavoidable. I have made a suggestion that someone - not me - suggests something that is mentioned in this[1] link. If I and the others say yes to "your" suggestion, then the discussion can be marked as a "no-fault freeze of the discussion - by consensus". Generally, the problems new editors run into when writing an article is establishing notability and finding enough reliable sources. I then noticed the similar Thakur Himmat Singh Makwana page started by Hapapapajia (talk · contribs) who I have welcomed. The sourcing /referencing 'syle' looks very similar, and somewhat similarly deficient!

- True. But I have come across others in the past and its quite obvious it's all done in good faith, if a little over enthusiastic, uncontrolled and not quite normal WP procedure being followed! Sometime they get a little 'ruffled' when their pages get speeded, which can be a problem. There was one where it was easy to work out the connections because about two(?) dozen+ noobs were 'reviewing' and commenting on each others new creations. I think once the instructor was located and a proper project page was created etc. it all settled down.

- It's always a good idea to declare a conflict of interest somewhere, such as on your user page, even if you don't plan on making promotional edits. Wikipedia has had an unfortunate history of editors promoting their employers or other interests and not divulging their connections. As for uploading images, follow the Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard. You'll need to provide a fair use rationale for using a copyrighted image, and the wizard will walk you through that. , you can add aname=
attribute inside the<ref>
tag like so:<ref name="foo">...</ref>
. Then, for subsequent footnotes using that reference, you can simply use<ref name="foo" />

I have had a little issue though; I had a page removed which was listed as violating section A7. I believe the issue was actually a case of the whole article not being read through before this decision was made. I have re- submitted the article 'Allworth Homes', with suitable alterations to address this situation. Problematic Jurrien J.B. Le article
I noticed you've had some serious reservations about the Jurrien J.B. Le article. You seem to be more familiar with the specific Wikipedia rules for dealing with such articles, so I'm leaving the comment here. Basically, I did a broad search and found nothing, zero, supporting this article. The user has now added a whole bunch of citations, but *none* of them mention *anything* about a person with this name (or for that matter a similar name). For example, the first citation (currently #1 in ref. list) is simply a link to the Taiwan Relations Act and the last (currently #10 in ref. list) simply an article about a specific type of operation. This is the pattern throughout. The more I've checked the more hoaxy it looks, incl. a bunch of "cover-up" citations that at first may appear genuine, but when actually checking they mention nothing about this supposed person. A discussion on the use of the term God to explain Vedic terms
Dear Clpo13,
My apologies if my edit did not appear constructive. This is an issue that needs to be debated and resolved by Hindus and people learned in Sanskrit and the Vedas. I am a Hindu, but not a Sanskrit scholar. However the term "God" does not appear in any Vedic scriptures or Hindu Mantras and the term Deva is mistakenly translated to God or god. This happened in circa 1930's when the Rig Veda was translated into English. The term Agni Deva was translated into Fire God. This is incorrect. Consequently Hinduism has been described as a polytheist religion and that to is improper. There is no equivalent term for Deva in English. Just as Karma, Avatar, Mantra have been incorporated into the English language, I believe the term Deva/Devi needs to be adopted as well.
I understand I am treading on deeply ingrained religious and political issues. But it has to be addressed.
Yes what I am suggesting has profound impact in many explanations of Vedic concepts. This is by no means trivial.
Please tell me how and where I can discuss this among my Hindu brothers and sisters and Sanskrit scholars.

Wikipedia disallows original research, thus content must be accompanied by a source to allow for verification of any claims made. I'm not sure where you can discuss this in more depth. The source you provided ([3]) doesn't say anything explicit about her relationship status. WP:SYNTH forbids drawing conclusions that the sources don't explicitly state. Her tweet may very well mean they aren't in a relationship, but we don't know that for sure. WP:BLP is very clear about contentious information about living people. Until there's a clearer source, the information shouldn't be added to the article.

Recent Edits On Peter Martin page
Hi, I received a message that said something about being in an "edit war". I didn't know I was in one. (lol) I'm new to Wikipedia and I thought there was a glitch because when I referred to the subject of the page as Peter Martin, it changed to just Martin. I thought there was some computer reason why he lost his first name. I wasn't even sure if some things on this site was computer generated or programmed editing. I'm sorry if there's a problem. It would be nice to know why the edit preference is to drop the first name. It's uncommon in editing for publications. - @Surfnburn15: There's actually another editor removing the first name. According to Wikipedia style guidelines (see MOS:LASTNAME), subsequent uses of a person's name omit the first name. Consistantly used the Talk page, and merely protected the consensus made long ago. - If there was a consensus, it's not clear considering how many people object to the inclusion of Azeris. That's why I suggested a RfC. Furthermore, no other editor has reverted more than once. - I realize now that the page I believe it was copied from was actually a copy of an existing Wikipedia page. However, the content of the article is copied from other Wikipedia pages and is essentially a duplicate of Category:Belarusian bloggers. You're welcome" and I literally just want it to be up long enough for her to get her birthday card and check Wikipedia for herself. Is there any way we can make this possible? You commented in relation to European bio names. This was an issue which surfaced in July 2011 and continued for several months. It has long been resolved. FWIW There have already been several RFCs on the subject of European bio and place names, with the same overwhelming result each time, and hard-written into the MOS guidelines across multiple languages, so the issue is not a new RFC but getting editors to follow the results of previous RFCs and MOS. :) All the best, cheers. Closure of Complykaro AfD
Hello Clpo13, the discussion on this specific nomination was far from uncontroversial - especially as none of the "Keep" voters bothered to provide a single new reference for their allegations (an extensive online search on my part did not come up with any independent in-depth sources). If you are allowed to self-revert this closure (not sure about the process), would you please do so to let an administrator look over the case? If not, could you advise if a WP:DRV would be the next step to check the situation? I appreciate that you are trying to trim down the backlog a bit, but I believe the decision in this particular case here was too hasty. I will say the same as I said here: why did you choose to close this as a redirect? The consensus did NOT appear to lean towards redirecting, the same article was nominated for deletion only a month ago (an kept), so you should at least consider both discussions.
