Yan Daudu; ( Queer History Among Bori Subculture of Hausa Animism) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Yan Daudu; ( Queer History Among Bori Subculture of Hausa Animism), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Liz Read! Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Yan Daudu; ( Bori Subculture of Animism)
[edit]A tag has been placed on Category:Yan Daudu; ( Bori Subculture of Animism) indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 16:19, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
Page moves
[edit]Hello, CiteMe997,
Please stop moving pages all around the project to different page titles and namespaces. It is disruptive and could lead to a loss of editing privileges. Every time you move a page it leaves behind a redirect page that then has to be dealt with so it is creating work for other editors to deal with. Look at your Contributions page and you can see some of the red link pages that were deleted. Please work on your article in Draft space and when you think it is finished, submit it to Articles for Creation. It is not a template, it is not a category and it is not ready for the main space of the project.
If you have questions about article creation or moving pages, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 17:08, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Rizi Timane
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Rizi Timane requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rizi Timane (2nd nomination). When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Notice of No Original Research Noticeboard discussion
[edit]There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:No original research/Noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The discussion is about the topic Colonial Impact On Gender Roles And Fluidity In Indigenous Nigerian Cultures. Thank you. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 16:20, 17 December 2023 (UTC)
- Based on the stated article, as well as the notices from other editors above, I believe it would be worthwhile for you to check out Wikipedia's guidelines regarding original research, which states, "Wikipedia articles must not contain original research. On Wikipedia, original research means material [...] for which no reliable, published source exists. This includes any analysis or synthesis of published material that reaches or implies a conclusion not stated by the sources." However, it's worth noting that you've done a lot of great research! As other editors have suggested, perhaps you could merge your findings into another article or even create an article such as "Gender roles in pre-colonial Nigeria" or something.Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 16:23, 17 December 2023 (UTC)
