The least security -- sign out of your user interface
Computer security worker or not, if someone else is using your private computer, particularly if it is someone like dragon, whom you don't know very well, simply log out of your user interface account and have them always use a guest account.--IP69.226.103.13 (talk) 21:30, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
:(
I'm sorry that things went down how they did, I certainly didn't expect all that to devolve in such a short time.
I hold no ill will or suspicion toward you, the drama was all too much for me as well. I hope to talk to you soon, you really do amazing work in helping our new contributors and I am still amazingly impressed with your workhorse speed. Love ya, buddy. Keegan (talk) 21:40, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Next steps
Hi Chzz,
I think you've done a lot of great work here, so to whatever extent my following the bread crumbs on the Dragon account has caused you stress, just know that I think you still have a lot to offer the Wikipedia community. I've stated in a few places that I don't believe your explanations, but whether they are true or not, I think most of us who opposed you for this are willing to grant most editors a mulligan and recognize that your good contributions far outweigh any negatives found in this incident. Assuming your side of the story is true, just be more careful with your computer. Assuming you lied about it, I can see that you would have created Dragon in a time of stress over the summer, and used it for the good of the project. People make mistakes, and we all need to remember that this is just an online encyclopedia. If you did what we accuse you of doing, it warrants a failed RfA, but it doesn't warrant exiling you from the project. To be honest, it would be a big loss to the project if you were to leave. If you do stick around, drop me a line if you ever want to run the gauntlet of RfA again and I would be happy to consider nominating you.

- A spontaneous note of a sleepy grumpy me: Cheer up. You might be stronger than all of us or you might be not, but you must have felt bad from this RFA. Stupid advice - forget it. This never happened. Wikipedia is one thing, its backstage mechanisms are another. I don't give compliments, but I admire your work, your dedication to WP and your strength in handling this matter. You've got something you enjoy doing, haven't you - get into that. If this would be working for the sake of WP - great, you know there are plenty of WP people who like you. If not - c'est la vie. As far as I can tell though, you've been a productive and valued editor, and I hope you continue to be one. Wow...Going To Miss your Help
Chzz, I just read some of what is going on and I, like you, have little tolerance for drama. So truthfully, while I skimmed through some of the issues, I did not read it all....but I do know this, what ever has or has not happened, you have helped me and a lot of other people. I'm going to miss your presence, assistance and guidance. I hope this will not permanently keep you away from coming to the rescue and helping others here. In the meantime, I will try to find someone who can fill the void and with whom I can work, as I still have some edits to make moving forward. With my appreciation for all you have done. I hope you return to lend your talents to others in need.

What happened?
I come back some time after supporting Chzz's RFA and find out that it has gone completely haywire. I looked over the discussion, too. Can someone tell me what this supposed "sock-puppet" was used for? I mean seriously, if Chzz had been using it to back up his own arguments, to vandalize, or to do anything malicious, sure he would try to hide it. Most of the "sock puppet"'s contributions are decent edits. Why would Chzz try to hide anything if this was an entirely positive account? I'm perfectly willing to accept his explanation, considering nothing wrong has been done here except a couple of suspected double votes and possible lying on an RFA. And those double votes...didn't even really affect anything. Please come back soon, Chzz. The Arbiter★★★ 00:35, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
What the...?!?
I read through your RfA... and then I read through it a few days later. It did not resemble the first one, and that is rather... shocking. I'm not sure how this controversy came about, but I personally do not believe that you have abused any accounts or such... You helped me once, and you were very nice about it... Actually, I'm really just confused right now. But I hope you come back. We need some help out there.--fetchcomms 03:08, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
I hope you have a thick skin.
I know that the past couple of days have not been great for you and I hope you have a thick skin. The concerns I raised were never about you but about your edits. And the truth is that most of us (including me) have done worse things in life than what you were accused of (dangling participle??). If you go through my edits it won't take long before you find some sort of inappropriate behavior. (I am truly a humble man with a lot to be humble about!). . . Also in fairness to you, you have touched many many people in a positive way.
Winston Churchill, remarking on the uncertainties of elective politics, said it was important "to be magnanimous in victory and gracious in defeat. . . and to never never give up." I hope you keep up the good work that you have done and that we can put this RfA behind us. Happy Editing. - Ret.Prof (talk) 11:27, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Worlds Greenest Homes
A tag has been placed on Worlds Greenest Homes, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The Drama
Hi Chzz. I've seen the notice that said you are away, but I have decided to still post you a message. I was very busy the last two weeks, mainly because of the examinations. The last time I spoke to you everything was okay. Once I logged on I remembered your RFA and decided to check it out. I wanted to know if you passed, but I've read that you withdrew.
I took my time and read trough everything I could get regarding the issue. My opinion? I don't care how far fetched your story may sound to some of the other editors, I believe you. I know you now for quite some time, and if you say that you are telling the truth, I would come up for you. To say the truth, I've met you once you helped me with something!
There is one more reason why I believe that you are telling the truth. I don't know if you would remember this, but some time ago I entered your IRC channel and asked you how it is going. You said okay, but something bothered you. You explained my the case of the admins that was involved in that socketpuppet case. I could remember that you were very upset about the case. Why would you do the exact same thing, if it upsetted you so much? And I know you are not stupid. You would've known that a CheckUser would be able to pick it up.

Help
Sir, Could you give me a little advice, one of the reasons that the east is having problems with western culture (talking about the west being on a dark path, is over the spread of pornography, ect.) That can of worms brings in whose idea of just what is porn. Scientific illustrations vs. what would be sold in magazines in a dirty back room of a filling station, might sometimes be one and the same. While most of us males have a penis, showing or exposing oneself (funny the part becomes oneself) in public can get one arrested. To the point - a photo in the page on peyronie's disease seems to cross both lines, I have replaced this twice - suggesting that any of several medical illustrations might be better (given children can stumble across this photo), however people who definitely want this photo on wikipedia and are apparently sitting at home watching over this particular photo, have quickly changed it back. One suggested I use the sandbox before making such a change, without heeding his own advise. Is there a place to complain about offensive photos. Perhaps, I am just tilting at windmills. I had a Hindu friend who let his rent on his domain name for his grocery store lapse, a few years ago. Needing to call to see if he had a product (I had lost his #) I typed in his store's name - BHAAM a similar photo, but including two folks and anal insertion popped up. As I was shocked, I could only imagine the shock of many Hindu grandmothers. Folks were apparently trolling for lapsed sites, procuring them, adding a choice bit of porn and then offering to sell the site back - essentially blackmail.
I have always loved the humour of George Carlin, but I wouldn't print many of his jokes here. Any help would be appreciated, sorry for casting you as my argonaut. thanks Atmamatma (talk) 22:43, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
- I am afraid that as Wikipedia is not censored, there is nothing that can be done. You may not like seeing an actual photograph of a penis demonstrating Peyronie's disease, but the picture itself is not pornographic anyway, but medical. Even if it was pornographic, if it was appropriate to the article it was in, then it would be kept. If you feel that you don't want your children to access pictures on Wikipedia, then may I refer you to Wikipedia:Options to not see an image. -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 22:57, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
