If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Krasen Belev requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Toдor Boжinov 15:51, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Krasen Belev has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. joe deckertalk to me 04:12, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Ronaldo Arabadziev da Silva

[edit]

Hello Roni10dS,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ronaldo Arabadziev da Silva for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Vanjagenije (talk) 14:34, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stats in football players' infoboxes

[edit]

Hi.

When you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the timestamps as of when the stats are correct. This is done by updating |pcupdate= (or |club-update=) parameter when updating club appearances and goals, or |ntupdate= (or |nationalteam-update=) when updating national team appearances and goals. This shows when the stats were last updated and prevents editors from accidentally updating the stats again.

The easiest way to do this is to use five tildes, which automatically converts to the current time. For example |club-update=~~~~~.

Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 21:55, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Christiana Louizu

[edit]

Hello, Chris Calvin,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Christiana Louizu should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Christiana Louizu .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

2015–16 A Group table ‎

[edit]

Hi, I saw your edits at Template:2015–16 A Group table and wanted to explain my view. First of all I do not speak any Bulgarian so I might have misunderstood some of the information. Anyway, from what I understand they will not play any more matches in the league this season so they should have the statusletter D, black background and text about being expelled. Also I modified your source to use one of the standard cite templates instead of regular brackets. The reason I reverted your second edit is because you removed the cite-template, why? You also removed the relegation for team 10, but do you have any source for that, I can not find any source saying 10th team wont be relegated? Qed237 (talk) 17:32, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I added reference that explain everything. Borislav Mihaylov explain the situation. Litex is relegated to B Group from next season. Same case like in the Romanian Liga I. Also in the reference its added that the last team in the group will be send on play-offs and the 9th will be saved. Chris Calvin (talk) 17:41, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, so Litex will be able to continue playing this season? And what happens if they qualify for Champions League or Europa League, will they be allowed to play those tournaments? Qed237 (talk) 17:47, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
They wont play in A Group this season, their matches are listed as 0:3. They will play only in Bulgarian Cup where they are on semi-final and if they won it, they will be qualified for Europe League, they will be in B Group for 2016-17 season. Also, since the team have second squad in B Group aka PFC Litex Lovech II, all first team players will play there and represent first team in cup only. Also, no matter the final result of Litex II in B Group, team will be relegated to V Group, since first and second team can't be in same division. Just Bulgaria. Chris Calvin (talk) 18:12, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Okay I undserstand, thanks. It sounds like the are still expelled and should be black, since they will not play any more games in A group this season. Qed237 (talk) 19:55, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not comfortable restoring a biography that was deleted at AFD just because the subject won a competition on a TV show. Your sources were [1], [2], and [3], plus her profiles on IMDB and Facebook. Why not just write a new article? When an article is deleted at AFD, G4 speedy only applies when the article is a repost: a new article on the same topic isn't subject to speedy deletion. Non-free rationale for File:FCSpartakVarnalogo.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:FCSpartakVarnalogo.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.

[edit]

--Scroch (talk) 10:14, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Chris Calvin (talk) 10:44, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Chris Calvin (talk) 09:29, 10 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Chris Calvin (talk) 15:22, 10 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
"Собственик ще бъде този, който плати", Ганчев плати, а ти продължаваш да настояваш --Scroch (talk) 07:52, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Erik Pochanski, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. PFC CSKA Sofia

[edit]

— Preceding unsigned comment added by Kzl1948 (talkcontribs) 20:52, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

-Chris Calvin (talk) 22:01, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Stoycho Atanasov

[edit]

I have declined your nomination for speedy deletion of this article. WP:G4 applies only to pages that recreation[s] of a page that was deleted per a deletion discussion. The article on Atanasov was not previously deleted, so the criteria doesn't apply. That being said, I agree that the article should be deleted, since it does not meet the relevant notability guidelines, so I have proposed it for deletion. Sir Sputnik (talk) 19:52, 16 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you are going to involve yourself in the deletion process, could you please first read up on the relevant policies and guidelines, because in this case, you are consistently getting it wrong. Both of the edits from kzl1948 that you reverted were perfectly legitimate. For the first edit, the author of a page with no substantial changes from other editors may request the deletion of their page by blanking it per WP:G7. This stems from the notion that self-reverts should always be permitted. For the second, proposed deletion may be objected to by removing tag, and it should not be reinstated if this is done. The reasoning here is that proposed deletions are for uncontroversial matters only. The movement there is evidence of controversy, the process no longer applies. May I suggest you read the Wiki pages on deletion policy, proposed deletions (including ones for biographies of living people), deletion discussions, and the criteria for speedy deletion. Cheers. Disambiguation pages

[edit]

Hello, Chris Calvin. When you changed PFC Spartak Varna into a disambiguation page, you may not have been aware of WP:FIXDABLINKS, which says:

When creating disambiguation pages, fix all resulting mis-directed links.
Before moving an article to a qualified name (in order to create a disambiguation page at the base name, to move an existing disambiguation page to that name, or to redirect that name to a disambiguation page), click on What links here to find all of the incoming links. Repair all of those incoming links to use the new article name.

It would be a great help if you would check the other Wikipedia articles that contain links to "PFC Spartak Varna" and fix them to take readers to the correct article. Thanks. R'n'B (call me Russ) 10:01, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:05, 12 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Chris Calvin. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "2018–19 Third Amateur Football League".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:19, 20 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sandy Ese Idigbe moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Sandy Ese Idigbe, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello Chris Calvin. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Chris Calvin. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Chris Calvin|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Praxidicae (talk) 14:54, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My latest edits and page creations are based on my own researches and with the idea to help wikipedia with creating articles for people who I find for notable. I'm not affiliated with any company that provides promotion of people and i'm not creating articles because someone asked me, but because I decided. And of course i'm not paid for them, I understood the rules of wikipedia and always keeping my point of view as neutral. I understand that my decision to create articles for such different people might seems as advertisement, but it is nothing more than a random choose of articles. I'm reading some online news sites and got inspired from there about the articles. I haven't received any warnings since I contribute to wikipedia, so I would keep my good work and will look again for creating articles by using articles for creation process to get feedback from another wikipedians and order to find if the articles I have working on are good enough for wikipedia. — Chris Calvin (talk) 22:58, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
if that’s true, please explain this, which is uploaded to a Flickr account under your name (as disclosed on your userpage). Praxidicae (talk) 12:18, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It is nothing more than a try to upload a picture of her. Found that she had a photo session with a photographer with whom I contacted since i'm a photographer too and use specific photography sites. I uploaded it into flickr, due to finding it is a way to upload pictures, as i'm not very familiar with the wikipedia file upload and finding it way too hard to provide an image that was given to me by other and not uploaded in any website and sending a dosen mails to administrators ect. Probably I have to keep myself on uploading only my own images, made by me, because I clearly cant understand the copyright rules and what I could upload or cannot. Still, this doesn't change the fact that i'm not taking money for creating or editing articles and i'm doing it on my own. I don't find wikipedia as place for advertising and would not try to use it that way. Chris Calvin (talk) 01:02, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

Request reason:

Hello. As you can see, this F121212 account was blocked almost 6 years ago, for a joke I had made in the Spain National Football Team by adding Tom Cleverley in the squad. Indeed, by the talk then I had admit my stupid joke and regret it. As you can see, except this i'm doing my best to keep Wikipedia clean from vandalism and helping with adding information, updating articles and creating new. As you can see, these accounts are not sock puppets, because they are not active for 6 years now, and I have 0 intense to return them or something. I believe you can look for all of mine articles and contribute and you will see for sure i'm here to help, I love helping Wikipedia and i'm sure anyone will see that this bad behavior was one time 6 years ago, and i'm here to contribute to the encyclopedia. - Chris Calvin (talk) 18:15, 23 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Unblocked per conditions below. TonyBallioni (talk) 18:58, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I’m somewhat sympathetic, but I won’t lie and say that the recent G11s didn’t have an impact on my choice to block here. There’s block evasion plus recent promotional content, which makes me less sympathetic to the “I was an idiot kid” argument. Is there anything you can say to address the spam articles? TonyBallioni (talk) 18:21, 23 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, so because I made a edits that look like a promotional, but as I said I'm not doing it for money and actually noone could contest it or proove me wrong you decide to block me for other thing made 6 years ago? I have like 10,000 edits and 2 edit jokes and these 3 are all people see. I have never managed to use the accounts for gaining advantage on argument for articles or something. I believe you could check all this and see that I never helped myself or did anything more that having an account, did a new as I didn't know how to change my name and 4 years after I did a joke edit as a Manchester United fan who was pissed off that player. And here we go 6 years after explaining myself again for the same as I haven't done it again or something. Just took my time to contribute and prove that I do all the best and beeing here to contribute as back then noone answered me how I could prove i'm here to help. So I did an account, start editing again and you can see if i'm here to contribute or not. Abouth the promotional articles accusations. I believe I explained everything, yes, I agree I did articles that didn't covered the criteria and I agreed that I should keep doing edits and creating articles in the sphere I know better. I did not, or did non intend to get money or anything in return for creating or editing articles. I'm happy to see that the persons articles I have made are now getting great, like the bulgarian players that are now in the national teams and in bigger clubs, i'm happy that I had a, probably, very little contribute to this. Same with football teams, I have build my own few football clubs articles and i'm so happy for helping in nothing in return. Same with models, singers and personalities. For me it is great to help people. And i'm doing my best to help. As I said, i'm not going to do articles by my own and would look to give them for review first. I don't know what more I could say, I believe my history of edits would prove you my contribute here. I'm sorry if my explanation is a little bit messed up, I totally understand you, you don't know me, you see things that are looking suspicious and you are doing your job. I just want you to check closer on my account and see that like you, i'm here to contribute and I love doing it, I do it for fun and with the idea i'm helping someone. That is why I might sound a little passionate in my explanation, but I really don't want to loose my rights to edit, because i'm here to help. Chris Calvin (talk) 18:48, 23 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The sockpuppetry is pretty old news at this point although I did find a deleted autobiographical article (I'm guessing) that all of your identified accounts had created & recreated years ago so the sockpuppetry did happen. I agree that the bigger issue is your creation of new promotional-looking articles. Would you be willing to cease creating new articles for a period of time and just edit existing articles & pages? I think that would be a start to regaining some trust. But I defer to Tony on this appeal. Liz Read! Talk! 19:06, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
First of all, let me point that this sockpuppetry happen 6 years ago and was bring on only to get a reason to delete my recent created articles. Because this, the sockpuppet account has nothing to do with the articles I created recently and they were deleted immediately like i'm the biggest criminal in wiki history. So, I believe everyone would agree, that blocking me for things happen 6 years ago is a bit of harsh. For the last 6 years I had proven myself in editing for the good of wikipedia and I have helped for building numerous articles. Isn't it? About the recent articles that were pointed as promotional. I did not intend to make that as that. I never got paid for making them or getting anything in return. And I didn't made them because somebody asked me to do it. I did it by my own and I do take the responsibility for creating articles that are not meeting the notability criteria. But some of the articles were discuses and proven to meet the criteria for notability, so deleting them moments after I got ban for things I did 6 years ago and blocking my option to challenge the deletion process is quite harsh and I feel it like a personal attack. What i'm going to do when I got unblocked? I'm going to keep my good work on editing Bulgarian football articles, teams and players stats ect. I'm also editing a lot of football articles at all, so i'm going to do the same. Also, I was going to create articles for Bulgarian actors and singers, but if administrators want a trial for me, i would keep myself away from creating articles outside the football aspect or at all if needed. I'm also doing a photography and as you can see in my recent uploads I would help with my fresh photography of Bulgarian cities and articles. Creating articles for people who are not from Bulgaria and could not prove notability is not my thing since it got me a bad vision, so i'm not going to create articles. I personally just wanted to give more new articles, but it is way too hard for my acknowledges, so I would not do it again and keep myself in the comfort zone i'm in in the last 6 years and before. -Chris Calvin (talk) 19:40, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the delay. I had been thinking about this.

So first, the sockpuppetry was not something that happened six years ago. It was ongoing: you were blocked and never connected the accounts or requested an unblock. That's block evasion and against the policy on use of multiple accounts, plain and simple. Every edit you made since the first block was active socking.

Next, we have a history of issues with this account, noted through the many AfDs and speedy deletions going up to a few weeks ago. It's one issue, but with the socking suggests that there were underlying issues with understanding of policy that needed to be addressed

That being said, I would be willing to unblock on the condition that any article you create must go through review at WP:AFC. If you're willing to abide by that, I'm willing to unblock as you've now connected the accounts publicly. If you are fine with this restriction, I'll unblock you and make a note of it in your block log. TonyBallioni (talk) 01:29, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, the reason happen 6 years ago, but I do understand I broke the rules by using new account rather than wait to get another appeal and to complete by the right way and I'm really understanding my mistake in that and regret it. AfDs were mostly for images or logos or about the articles who were discussed and then proven by other members that the articles met the criteria for notability, except the latest ones who I agree were not meeting the criteria, but I really didn't make them with promotional purposes and I agree I should keep on the areas I have better acknowledges. So yes, If you unblock me I would create new articles only by going through review at WP:AFC as I already said I would do it in order to gain back the trust. I would only ask if this would go for footballers, I make articles for players who have played in the Bulgarian First League, rules for footballers are a bit clear, if he have played for a professional team in a fully professional league he is meeting the criteria for notability. I'm just asking, if you say all my articles to make it through review I will do it that way without any question. I don't know what is the policy about the other accounts, if you can please just delete them, I don't remember passwords or anything and I would never want to have more problems with them, so I would never try to use them or use any other account rather then mine. If they are going to stay and be linked I would just never use them. I would be very grateful if you are willing to unblock me and I would do my best to never do same mistakes, but only to contribute the encyclopedia getting better. Arlind Dakaj moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Arlind Dakaj, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) WP:NFOOTY is no longer a valid SNG, so GNG must be met. It needs several refs from independent, reliable, secondary sources to pass WP:GNG. It should have at least 3 of those. Please remember that routine sports coverage does not satisfy GNG, and that interviews, being primary sources, do not go to notability either. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Unblock IP

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Chris Calvin (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 213.130.93.60. I never used VPN or any other IP covering things. I'm based in Varna, Bulgaria with having a standard internet from one of the biggest internet providers in Bulgaria. Chris Calvin (talk) 21:32, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline as, while your account is not directly blocked and you can edit from other IPs, I'm not likely to get the block on the IP lifted (and it really isn't your fault). I suggest instead that you follow the instructions at WP:IPECPROXY and request IP block exemption so this won't be a problem. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:09, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Notice

The article 2023–24 Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:CRYSTALBALL. No evidence of anything more than routine/primary coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. September 2024

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into FC Benkovski Isperih. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. jlwoodwa (talk) 15:18, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
