AfD nomination of Madden NFL 2010

[edit]

I have nominated Madden NFL 2010, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Madden NFL 2010 (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Speedy deletion of Madden NFL 2010

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Madden NFL 2010, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Mblumber (talk) 02:32, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to WP:NFL your contributions are certainly appreciated however please research your edits, In a list specific format such as the NFL Draft pages you've attempted to edit, you are disregarding the acceptable article format style and not reading the notes clearly outlined on each page when viewed in the edit window.

  1. In the college column a link to a state is just that, a link to a state and not a college.
  2. The format of this series of pages is Wikilink first occurrence only for team names, colleges and postitions.

Your repeated wikilinks to teams and states (as opposed to colleges) is not the acceptable format. Please use a little more care and Happy editing Slysplace talk 02:57, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am not sure where you are getting the information for the stat updates you keep making to Bears players. I removed/reverted your additions, after determining it was inconsistent with information available on ESPN and NFL.com. Please be more careful when adding information. --  StarScream1007  ►Talk  05:06, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Michael Phelps. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. Bentoman (talk) 02:31, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Up and Down jungle

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Up and Down jungle requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. March 2009

Please do not assume ownership of articles such as Emure‎. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 00:54, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Emure. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 00:57, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Chicagobears94! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 332 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
