Rejoy2003 Good day. Thank yo for interested in joining CVUA. I had a look at your contribution log and talk page. You have been warned several times for creating promotional articles, violate of copyright which Wikipedia takes this matter very seriously and adding info on the articles which were not supported by sources. All this is part o vandalism and the most concern of the top two is promotion/spam added and violation of copyright material which you have done repeatedly and admin has given you the last warning. I dont think you are ready to take on the CVUA program until you could contribute constructively. Btw, all deleted edits/info can always be viewed from the history log, so it is better for you to archive your talk page instead of removing all the warnings messages - see Help:Archiving a talk page for instruction. Hi Cassiopeia, thanks for the message. I'm constantly learning and trying to be a good contributor but my actions mostly seem to be going towards the wrong direction.

Restoration of talk page messages
Hello Cassiopeia, apologies for being a bit late writing this message. Yesterday, IP 117.20.68.214 was blocked for repeated vandalism, which I was reverting for a quarter-hour beforehand. I noticed you reverted their blanking of the warnings I and others had given them here and here. I wanted to ask, was there a reason you were restoring those messages? As far as I know there is no policy prohibiting users, registered or otherwise, blanking messages on their own user talk page messages (as per WP:BLANKING).
It appears I was wrong in restoring the comments. As I remembered it, we can restore comments regarding a block while the block is ongoing. I remembered wrong, since that only applies to declined unblock requests while the block is still in effect. I will try to remember that in the future. Sjö (talk) 10:05, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
No policy against blanking, and I never touch the talk page of another user. However given this was an IP solely engaged in vandalism I was restoring the warnings so admin could easily see them. Backlog status
After the last newsletter (No.28, June 2022), the backlog declined another 1,000 to 13,000 in the last week of June. Then the July backlog drive began, during which 9,900 articles were reviewed and the backlog fell by 4,500 to just under 8,500 (these numbers illustrate how many new articles regularly flow into the queue). Thanks go to the coordinators Buidhe and Zippybonzo, as well as all the nearly 100 participants. Congratulations to Dr vulpes who led with 880 points. See this page for further details.
Unfortunately, most of the decline happened in the first half of the month, and the backlog has already risen to 9,600. Understandably, it seems many backlog drive participants are taking a break from reviewing and unfortunately, we are not even keeping up with the inflow let alone driving it lower. We need the other 600 reviewers to do more! Please try to do at least one a day.
Coordination
MB and Novem Linguae have taken on some of the coordination tasks. Please let them know if you are interested in helping out. MPGuy2824 will be handling recognition, and will be retroactively awarding the annual barnstars that have not been issued for a few years.
Open letter to the WMF
The Page Curation software needs urgent attention. There are dozens of bug fixes and enhancements that are stalled (listed at Suggested improvements). We have written a letter to be sent to the WMF and we encourage as many patrollers as possible to sign it here. We are also in negotiation with the Board of Trustees to press for assistance. Better software will make the active reviewers we have more productive.

Reviewers who prefer to patrol new pages by their most familiar subjects can do so from the regularly updated sorted topic list.
New reviewers
The NPP School is being underused. The learning curve for NPP is quite steep, but a detailed and easy-to-read tutorial exists, and the Curation Tool's many features are fully described and illustrated on the updated page here.
If you have noticed a user with a good understanding of Wikipedia notability and deletion, suggest they help the effort by placing {{subst:NPR invite}} on their talk page.
If you are no longer very active on Wikipedia or you no longer wish to be part of the New Page Reviewer user group, please consider asking any admin to remove you from the list. This will enable NPP to have a better overview of its performance and what improvements need to be made to the process and its software.

Uricdivine Good day and thank you for interested in joining CVUA. You have been warning many times regarding adding unsourced content and I hope by now you have learnt what [[WP:|IS|independent]], reliable sources are and the reasons for WP:V and WP:BURDEN (I do expect you to read the links I place here). Secondly, pls dont report editors to [ Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents]] (ANI) for some trivial disruptive issues or vandalism edits. ANI is for issues which have been (usually) discussed in the article talk pages with the involved parties and still would not find a resolution to slove the issues that greatly impact the article. So only report the editor to ANI when it is super necessary. Excessive vandalism or disruptive edits can be report to AIV which is what CVUA program is all about. To join CVUA, you are require to read the links/guidelines provided and do the assignments which would take up some of your personal time. Many participants would abandam the program because they find the work load was a little too much even they have been info prior joining the program. If you still want to join the program after info above provided then pls complete WP:TWA (very short program - about 90 mins) first so you may understand some of the basic Wikipedia guidelines. Hello, Cassiopeia. After reading the links you sent in the afternoon and finishing it now I decided to begin WP:TWA but I always get stuck In "Edit user space". In the instructions is states that it won't work with visual editing only source but my editing button reads "Edit source". After editing my userspace I dont see any thing again only "<---" Nothing else. Please am I doing any other thing wrong?.... Am a mobile editor and I use Mozilla Firefox (might that be the problem?). Am sorry for being a burden on you. Am really interested to complete this, after seeing this message I went to the link site and I tapped "start the adventure" multiple times but nothing was happening. I had to change browser and logged in to my uc browser (I was on Firefox) still if I tap it the adventure doesn't begin. I first taught it was rain due to rain was falling so i wanted to wait for the till this night. Uricdivine From your screen shot, the system asked you to use "source editing" mode to edit the page. I believe you used "visual editing" mode. The source/visual editing modes can be found at the top right on the main manu on every page. Look for the "pencil/pen" icon and click the drop down list and choose "source editing". As for TWA, you have to do the assignment on laptop/computer and not on the mobile. Finally, you still need to learn how to provie "hist diff" for CVUA program. Uricdivine TWA is for every editor and it provide great help especially for new editor to understand Wikipedia guidelines so editors would edit constructively. There are some features that mobile editors might not have, so it would be difficult for you to join the program. I suggest you to use a lap top or computer even you want to edit casually. Thanks for your reply. I had a problem with my laptop, is being fixed now, that means I can't use it for another two weeks or days. That's the reason I said I believe is not for me maybe not now, according to a user on teahouse he said I can graduate even though am using Mobile is that right?. So if you still want to join the program after reading the above info, then pop back here. In the meantime, pls complete WP:TWA program (about 90 mins) so you may understand some of the basic Wikipedia guidelines prior starting CVUA program.

To Cassiopeia: Hello, I have made edits to MMA fighter Dominick Cruz date of birth and it seems you have reversed them numerous times. If you were a fan of Dominick Cruz, you would know that his birthday is 03/09/1985 not 09/03/1985. You can check his social media pages such as Instagram to verify this. He even did an interview with MMAFighting.com saying “Someone on Wikipedia put my birthday as September and I don’t know why”. You can literally click on the reference source link and it will take you to Sherdog, an mma website, that verifies his real date of birth. I always check the change of DoB for the MMA fighter on Sherdog web page (as per existing source) prior revert (I remember most of the UFC fighter nickname but not DoB) and both incidents were Sept 3. I reverted your edits as you added content were not source and the then cited info was correct for such vandalism messages were posted in your talk page. I check again today after reading your message and it has changed to March 9 in Sherdog, I guess somehow someone info Sherdog of their mistake/error (I have informed Sherdog and UFC many times on their errors via twitter and Sherdog did change the info such as they indicated a fighter is already dead but she was actually was fighting in next 2 days, but UFC made so many mistakes and even after I informed them, it will take them a few days to correct they errors) and I will change the info as per source. (note: instragram, facebook and all social media is considered not reliable in Wikipedia and the what the subject said (Dom in this case) is considered not independent source in Wikipedia).Stay safe and best Cassiopeiatalk

Please note that NPPS is a comprehension program and would require you to read some guidelines (reading material / links) and work on the assignment. Thus it would require you to spend some of your personal time to complete the program. However, the program has not time set limit for completion and every participant would work on the assignment at their own pace. Most participant would complete the program in 3 months.
