The article Adam Langer (ice hockey) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet Wikipedia's notability threshold under WP:GNG or the subject-specific WP:YOUNGATH. WP:YOUNGATH requires "substantial and prolonged coverage" that is independent and above and beyond routine coverage; the subject of this page does not have such coverage, so does not pass the threshold at this time.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Although a proposed deletion might come as a shock, it's just because there are guidelines on how notable subjects have to be in order to have a Wikipedia article. It might be interesting for you to have a look at some of them, especially notability for sports-related articles if you're interested in ice hockey.
