Proposed deletion of Thunder Cleese

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Thunder Cleese, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Subject doesn't warrant its own page, nor is it notable enough to warrant a redirect.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.  X  S  G  04:27, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Brak's Mom

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Brak's Mom, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Minor fictional character. WP:N

A tag has been placed on Thunder Cleese requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. A tag has been placed on Thunder Cleese, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Please note that my attempt to redirect to The Brak Show was a compromise, and against my better judgment in the first place. That you undid that redirect leads me to the conclusion that you're not trying to be constructive, here, and therefore I've recommended to the deleting admin that Thunder Cleese be protected against re-creation, as well. You lose.  X  S  G  02:50, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Sisto, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sisto. Proposed deletion of Don Kennedy

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Don Kennedy, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No reliable sources found to verify notability.

Space Ghost/Brak Show Characters

[edit]

Please stop creating or re-creating pages for the characters of the Space Ghost and Brak Shows. The shows have a section on their characters and this is sufficient in Wikipedia for these characters. Please make constructive edits to these sections rather than creating a bunch of character articles which will ultimately be removed from Wikipedia.  X  S  G  03:08, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Brak's Dad requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

Proposed deletion of The Lizard King (Spider-man episode)

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Lizard King (Spider-man episode), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Wikipedia:Your first article. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. I have redirected the episode pages you've created from the 1994 Spider-Man series back to the core article. Please do not continue to create individual pages for the episodes without discussing them in the source article. The episodes are not notable enough to warrant their own Wikipedia articles. mhking (talk) 04:35, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Alexander Knox (Batman)

[edit]

The article Alexander Knox (Batman) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Minor fictional character. No assertion of significance.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 02:11, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
