Batman ‘89 (comic book)

[edit]

I’ve noticed that you’re getting into an edit war on this page. The source there does not state what you keep adding. If you can find a source stating that the book acts as cannon to fill in the gap between Batman Returns and the upcoming Flash film, please add it. Everyone is just going to keep reverting your contribution if you don’t. I’m sure you mean well but Wikipedia requires a source. If you need any help please feel free to let me know. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Commercial. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:54, 25 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:The Dude.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:The Dude.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 21:03, 25 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed a file deletion tag from File:The Dude.png. When removing deletion tags, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that the information in the deletion tag instructs you specifically not to remove it. Whpq (talk) 22:37, 25 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove file deletion tags from file description pages on Wikipedia, as you did to File:The Dude.png, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. You may dispute the deletion on the file talk page but do not remove the deletion tag. Please use preview

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.

The Show preview button is right next to the Publish changes button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Please make sure to preview your new redirects, as a large number of them have had a typo that breaks the redirect. Taking Out The Trash (talk) 16:49, 28 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
