I saw you were the editor who added this to the essay template with this diff. I just came across the and was wondering if it really belongs here. Since you added it to the templates to be transcluded I presumed you felt that the essay was worthy of being here. My concern is that it is still boarder line promotional, covering the topic in some detail, but in a sort of obscure way by also talking about why it shouldn't exist. Half of the info is basically lifted content from other project pages without really introducing anything new to the topic. Your thoughts? TiggerJay(talk) 03:49, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Tiggerjay well, I think it's suitable because it explains notability and some related topics with a real (and somewhat humorous) example, but I wouldn't object to removing it for some other reason. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talkcontribs) 00:34, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Just a quick heads up

[edit]

I did a minor grammar edit regarding for the last subheading in your essay. Just wanted to let you know it was me in case you had any issues with it. Thanks! Therguy10 (talk) 18:40, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Therguy10 thanks. I'm surprised anyone still reads that essay, lol. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talkcontribs) 00:35, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
"Tis something that related to me with my draft. Not quite suitable enough yet for Wikipedia but should be welcome elsewhere. (Though I have plenty of work to do elsewhere here :D) Sometimes it does surprise me how angry people can get at rejections... Therguy10 (talk) 00:43, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The major competitor Willis Towers Watson offers Emblem and Radar. WTW is much bigger. Earnix may not be notable. If you think Earnix is indeed unremarkable, I will not commit to further writing. Thanks New hordak from 2018 (talk) 14:09, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@New hordak from 2018 for a company to be notable by Wikipedia standards, there needs to be multiple independent reliable sources that cover it. Merely existing or having a notable competitor does not make one notable. See Help:Your first article for more information.
