Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Peterbilt 579 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. JCB 3CX

[edit]

I've moved this to Draft:JCB 3CX, to allow you to continue to work on it. It probably is a notable topic by Wikipedia's standards, but it needs to be sourced to independent reliable sources before we can publish it as an article (see e.g. John Deere Model M for an example of the minimum amount of information we need for a page of this nature). ‑ Iridescent 12:28, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on JCB 3CX requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Lucid amp-1 moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Lucid amp-1, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Camblere, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Lucid amp-1, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

Nomination of Cruise origin for deletion

[edit]
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Cruise origin is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

what Camblere (talk) 13:41, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Your new article was nominated for deletion and then speedy deleted. Based on the discussion, editors did not make sense of the content of the page or believe that the subject was independently notable. Turning the page into a redirect was mentioned in the discussion, but perhaps not considered because your article was not appropriately capitalized. When creating new pages, appropriate titles should be used, which includes correct capitalization; "Cruise origin" appears to be referring to the starting point of a cruise, while "Cruise Origin" (which I've created as a redirect) more clearly indicates the name of something. Please also consider creating articles in Draftspace and using the Articles for Creation process to promote them to article space, as it gives you more time to prepare content. —Ost (talk) 22:10, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Cruise origin‎ shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Singularity42 (talk) 15:51, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please take the time to read the messages on your page and follow the links to understand the concerns. "Cruise origin" is not the correct title for this page, as it is a name and should be capitalized. Moreover, topics are not required to be covered in their own pages; it is common for subtopics to be handled in the parent article with a redirect pointing to it. This can be an editorial choice or a practice driven by the notability of the subject. I again suggest that you use the Articles for creation process to create articles that you believe are missing; the reviewers can best point out concerns and help you understand how to address them without getting into conflict with other volunteers. —Ost (talk) 16:18, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Rivian's factory

[edit]

Hello Camblere,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Rivian's factory for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Cruise origin EV.

[edit]

Hello Camblere,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Cruise origin EV. for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Article creation

[edit]

Hey there, Camblere! It might be worthwhile to slow down a bit on the article creation until you have familiarized yourself more with Wiikpedia policies. I've been noticing four issues with your articles:

  • You often are creating short articles about car models where either (a) we already have an article in existence for that model or (b) it is a sub-class of a model which is already expanded on in the article on the main model.
  • The articles are sometimes a copy-paste of another article (with the name of the model changed) or a copy-paste of another website.
  • The articles are sometimes on non-[WP:N|notable]] subjects.

I encourage you to explore Wikipedia more and familiarize yourself more with the polices about article creation before creating a new article. I also encourage you to check out articles for creation if you think you are ready create a new article. Singularity42 (talk) 20:16, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent further vandalism.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Your recent edit was absolutely unacceptable, and I see no reason to tolerate it. I don't see any evidence of a compromised account with CheckUser either. Mz7 (talk) 09:36, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
