Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that the page you created, Draft:Link prediction, was tagged as a test page under section G2 of the criteria for speedy deletion and has been or soon may be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Notice

The article Link prediction has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Without references it is impossible to deterge whether this is original research or a synthesis of published material Placing this notice of proposed deletion grants a finite time for references to be provided. We require references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, and in WP:RS please. See WP:42. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to make this article above to remain here (0.9 probability). Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion, certainly today.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. [edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Link prediction is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Link prediction until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Fiddle Faddle 22:17, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi CCLevy, my name is GeneralNotability and I am a sockpuppet investigation clerk. You may have noticed an earlier message regarding a sockpuppet investigation, I declined it because it looks like you and the other accounts involved are all doing some kind of team editing project (rather than bad faith sockpuppetry). It would be helpful, however, for you and your team members to identify that you are editing as part of a group on your userpage, perhaps something like "I am editing topics related to statistical learning along with other members of my lab." Please let me know if you have any additional questions, I am happy to answer. GeneralNotability (talk) 21:36, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello GeneralNotability. Thanks for your help earlier today. I actually do have some questions about the best way for editors associated with our group to indicate their affiliation. I might not have time this week to go into more detail, but I'll ping you on my talk page probably by next week with a few more details about our situation, and seek your advice about the best way to proceed. Best, CCLevy (talk) 08:14, 29 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Might Wikipedia:School and university projects be a helpful place to start? I'm not sure if your group is an educational group. (talk page stalker) Fiddle Faddle 08:31, 29 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
