[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:World War II are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Dhtwiki (talk) 07:18, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
How France was invaded by Germany in World War Two.
[edit]In May of 1940 the Battle of France erupted! It was started when Nazi Germany cracked the Maginot Lines built by France which was meant to stop the Germans from invading France! However it didn't work which gave Germany the chance to invade them in World War Two. But that wasn't only reason that France was easily invaded by them! The Fascist State of Italy declared war on France! With Italy now declaring war on France, the French surrendered days later. But it didn't stop Great Britain from surrendering as the famous Battle of Dunkirk happened which resulted in an Ally retreat to England thus the Battle of Britain began! France wasn't able to be saved by the other allies until June 6th, of 1944 when the Americans, British and Canadian soldiers landed on the beaches of Normandy, France. This allied invasion was the biggest invasion by sea and also resulted in an Ally victory! Bubba2018 (talk) 16:31, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
Why don't many other languages use the letters that we use in English?
[edit]English is a Germanic language that was first started by the Germanic tribes during the Dark Ages. Many of you know who the Anglo-Saxons are. But have you ever noticed that some of the other Western European languages don't use the letters K, and W? Because I've been learning the French language. Thanks for reading and have a great day! Could King Louis the XVI prevent this if he did this?
[edit]Hello my fellow wikipedians! Have any of you guys heard about the French Revolution? Obviously you've heard about about it! And here's how king Louis the XVI could've prevented the French Revolution. 1st. Both King Louis the XVI and Queen Mary Antoinette were very lazy and all they just did was spend their money for clothes, houses and food which of course put the citizens of France into debt. 2nd. If King Louis the XVI was only spending his money on the things that he didn't help his people with the famines, disease and all of the work the people had to do. 3rd. With the Royal Family being lazy and stupid with their people and which of course they'd soon be executed by the rebels. And Napoleon would soon rise to power.
