Your user page
[edit]Hello there, and welcome. Your user page sort of seems like an article, and sort of seems like a page to promote your organization. It's not really allowed under WP:UP#PROMO. It's probably best to remove it, even though your site is very nice, and non-commercial. Best wishes, and happy editing. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 09:08, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Cree Hymn Book.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Cree Hymn Book.jpg, which you've sourced to Cree Hymn Book. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 22:07, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 26
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sudbury (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Do you have a reference for those 36 passengers being the first killed in air travel? That strikes me as extraordinarily unlikely given how often heavier-than-air planes fell out of the sky during the early years of development. And people certainly died ballooning quite frequently. I reverted that statement for the moment. Tarl.Neustaedter (talk) 21:21, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
Finding August 1923 Air Union Farman Goliath crash, I reverted the statement. There were earlier commercial air deaths, this was the first scheduled airliner death I could find. Tarl.Neustaedter (talk) 23:44, 24 March 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for your great edit to the ONR article. One of your citations didn't work. It was "ref name=Jun-23-2012 /". Could you add the citation in, or send it to me and I'll fix it. Thanks! Magnolia677 (talk) 22:58, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

DYK for Hyalinobatrachium dianae
[edit]On 7 May 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Hyalinobatrachium dianae, which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that a recently discovered frog looks a lot like The Muppets character Kermit the Frog? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Hyalinobatrachium dianae. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

The file File:Bright Guy logo, designed Dec. 2010.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused logo with no article used, it's also can't move to commons because of an unused logo will be deleted as of out of project scope.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Willy1018 (talk) 07:42, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
