Welcome Bottleboy04!
Hello Bottleboy04. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions!

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
  Fight vandalism

  Help contribute to articles
  Perform maintenance tasks

Become a member of a project that interests you
  Help design new templates
Subscribe and contribute to The Signpost
Translate articles from Wikipedias in other languages

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Information icon Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page Euphoria (disambiguation). However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation dos and don'ts, you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry
    • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references

Thank you. C F A 💬 00:07, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Los Fantasmas for deletion

[edit]
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Los Fantasmas is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Los Fantasmas (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Anthony Galindo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page MDO. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 08:21, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Menudo Los Fantasmas Backcover.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free album cover art being used in a decorative manner in Los Fantasmas. Non-free album cover art is generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about albums, but its use in other articles or in other ways is generally only allowed when the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3 so that the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is evident. The non-free File:Menudo Los Fantasmas.png is already being used for primary indentifiction purposes in the main infobox, so this file isn't need for that reason despite what the non-free rationale claims; moreover, the back cover art isn't itself the subject of any sourced critical commentary in the article so omitting it isn't going to really be detrimental to the reader's understand of the content about the album in anyway.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:10, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I will delete them as soon as I can. Bottleboy04 (talk) 02:47, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Files can only be deleted by an administrator. Since you've blanked the page, I've added {{db-blanked}} to it. If you do nothing, the page will be deleted by an administrator. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:22, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Menudo (group), you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. You are not allowed to insert inline URLs into the article body. Binksternet (talk) 02:43, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Explain how the external links inapproiate? There's no way videos can literally affect you? Bottleboy04 (talk) 02:47, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia's policies and guideline don't allow the embedding of external links into the bodies of articles the way you're trying to do as explained in WP:CS:EMBED and WP:ELLIST. This is why I removed them in the first place. In addition, links to YouTube videos can be particularly troublesome from a copyright standpoint as explained in WP:COPYLINK and WP:YOUTUBE because in many cases the videos found on YouTube were not uploaded by their original copyright holders. If the band has an official YouTube channel and posts its music videos on that channel, then you might be able to add one general link to that channel to the "External links" section of the article.
If, after reading the above, you still feel that none of its applies to you, you can start a discussion about this at WP:ELN to seek a WP:CONSENSUS to re-add the links. I don't, however, suggest you keep trying to re-add them without any such consensus to do so because they'll likely be removed again, and your attempts could be seen as edit warring by a Wikipedia administrator. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:37, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
