Orphaned non-free image File:03 PG Chelsea Arts Club-1.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:03 PG Chelsea Arts Club-1.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:22, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Rock Graphics 2048x2048.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Rock Graphics 2048x2048.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Origional Stretch Jeans.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — JJMC89(T·C) 02:29, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:05 PG TBones-1.jpeg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:05 PG TBones-1.jpeg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

File source problem with File:Jeans Explosion.jpg

Hello Blue windy muso. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Blue windy muso. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Blue windy muso|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Yunshui  10:17, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Ok Sherlock I mean Yunshui. You got me. I commend your fastidious detective work. I am a sock-puppet account of User:Anupam. I hoped that pretending to be a drug-addled visual editor user would be the perfect cover, and for a while there I got away with it. I created this account because Kristian Aadnevik and Peter Golding did not want to go down the disclosed COI route, they want to control everything that is said about them on the internet and I believe people and companies should have the right to manage their online reputations, and one's epistemic rights are more important than this encyclopaedia. I suppose you're wondering why a dedicated veteran editor of 15 years would turn to the dark side? Well, it's simple, Wikipedia's paid editing policy is farcical and provides fertile ground for corruption. I would have been happy to continue playing by the rules, but why should I? Since WP introduced the new guidelines for paid editors, User:ThatMontrealIP, User:Yunshui, User:Bbb23, User:DGG, User:GSS and User:MER-C have colluded and established a protection racket. This racket trolls Upwork shaking down small-time paid editors (some disclosed, some not) while taking payments from big business tom preserve the interests of capitalism and protect the status quo. I believe the only way to nip this problem in the bud is to ban all off-wiki communication between admins and editors. No more IRC, no more Wikimania. These places are breeding grounds for corruption. Discussions about paid-editing cases and their outcomes should take place on-wiki, in full view, so that they are transparent. They should not happen on IRC, or WhatsApp or Google Hangouts or seedy lap-dancing clubs on the periphery of Wikimania. You should also ban off-wiki policing as it is a gross invasion of privacy and merely augments this chaos. To summarize, please unblock my master account User:Anupam. If you don't unblock my master account I am going to go to every newspaper and every tech publication and tell them all about Wikipedia's corrupt paid editing police, thus destroying Wikipedia's credibility FOREVER. Deletion discussion about Physical intelligence

[edit]

Hello, Blue windy muso

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username North8000 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Physical intelligence, should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Physical intelligence.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|North8000}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)
