ohi

i had no idea you were on wikipedia, blake! (it's may.) anything i can help with? :) talkingbirds 21:08, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Pokémon

First of all, I have read WP:REDIRECT#NOTBROKEN.

My editing is not about pointing directly to the article, per se, but fixing the spelling for "the Dragon Ball character," according to Wikipedia spelling standards that can apply to anime characters names. I will end my comment here seeing that I have to go now. —Tokek (talk) 00:49, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

It did not occur to me that one would perceive Frieza and Furiizaa as not alike in spelling. I understand now why you would want to make an exception to standard spelling policies: because Furiizaa better illustrates what you want. I think that reason would be just as applicable whether or not Furiizaa was a redirect. —Tokek (talk) 12:02, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Blastoise and Pokebox

Thanks for the note on my talk page! You might be interested in other pokemon templates I've created, {{pokebox}} (for more easily filling out {{infobox VG character}}) and {{pokeconvert}} (name/number conversions). I'm not sure about joining a taskforce though as my contributions to pokemon articles waxes and wanes considerably. We'll see what the project does with this new article, if I have to fight them too much, when I've gone and found exactly what people leik AMIB have been wanting, I probably will not bother anymore (unless attitudes change). But i appreciate your comments and invitation. Happy editing -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 01:23, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Re:IRC

heh. I would, but I don't have control over the bot. Thingg 02:17, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Apology & remaining concern

You are right; I was mistaken. You undertook a short discussion on the subject. Try Talk:Fascism or Talk:Sarah Palin if you laboring under the mistaken impression that the discussion on Blastoise is a thorough discussion. The former especially is a good example of how to categorize a compromise wording; unfortunately it seems that the Blastoise discussion is bogged down over the much more basic aesthetic of notability, and subverted by AfD and reverts; looking at the pros isn't going to help much if the basics aren't mastered. Anarchangel (talk) 01:17, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

merging blastoise into list

I wanted to point out that when you copy/pasted the info, you forgot to include the cooper ref from the article which is used to source things like moves and strategy, without a reference it could be taken as specualation. --ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 14:05, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Responding to Mario Comment

If nicknames are not important than why are you caring so much about it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Valkyrie Red (talkcontribs) 18:45, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Responding to Mario Comment

Blake, it is only 5 words and you're making a mountain out of a mole hill. If you don't want to start a debate war, then i'd suggest you'd stop arguing about this mere little thing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Valkyrie Red (talkcontribs) 19:47, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Charizard

Nice work rebuilding the Charizard article. It looks pretty good. Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 00:38, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. I built it up from this, so I had a pretty good head start. Also, the editors at WP:POKE help alot. --Blake (talk) 00:45, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

ANI

I'm giving you a courtesy notice that I have reported the above user to ANI per the personal attacks/incivility made. See Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Continued personal attacks by User:Valkyrie Red. Regards, MuZemike 02:38, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Starter Pokemon

Hm, not really what I had in mind with the article to be honest. What I was thinking more was taking what development information we did have to them and the reaction to the Grass/Water/Fire lineup at the start of every game and building the article around that. It could also illustrate that guides pointed out such as the case of the RGB one I have that the starter pokemon effectively set the starting "difficulty" in the game, mainly in the aforementioned titles. What do you think?

By the way sorry I haven't lent a hand that much with the article stuff, arguing with Zapper and working on my game's kinda got me tied up. :\--Kung Fu Man (talk) 03:14, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

DYK for Jynx (Pokémon)

Updated DYK query On July 19, 2009, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Jynx (Pokémon), which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits your article got while on the front page (here's how) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Lucario movie

Don't tell anyone, but if Lucario isn't notable, neither is his movie! It has less references than Lucario, and they are from less realiable sources. All I can find for Lucario/influence is newspaper reviews in the New York Times of his movie. Purplebackpack89 (talk) 21:15, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

All this crap reminds me

The VG Barnstar
Because seriously, it is nice to see someone give a damn about Pokémon. Kung Fu Man (talk) 15:25, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Wow, thanks! On this note, diddnt we have a Pokémon barnstar? It got lost somwhere. It was Pokéball themed. Blake (Talk·Edits) 15:45, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

I think it got removed because of fair-use issues (same reason the Nintendo taskforce uses the mushroom icon it does now :S)--Kung Fu Man (talk) 16:34, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Re

Don't worry, I know quite a bit about Pokemon and plan on being actve in the project. :) Mokoniki | talk 11:07, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Mudkip

Might be a good idea to move it to your workspace or to outright delete it instead. Without the meme backing it up (which apparently was never actually about Mudkip to begin with if I read all that mess right x.X) I don't see it ever having enough to be an article at this point Blake.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 15:29, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
