[edit]Hello, thank you for your contributions at Rossa (singer). However, I have removed your edits for the time being, because they contained a huge number of errors. Please review the Manual of Style (I'll attach an automated message below about that). In particular, your use of bold and italic text is not how Wikipedia expects articles to appear.
You will also need to provide a source for your content. If you can do that, and fix most of the errors, you are welcome to resubmit the content. Thanks, Jessicapierce (talk) 21:27, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Rossa (singer), disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 21:27, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Jessicapierce. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Rossa (singer), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 21:27, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
Style errors
[edit]I have again removed your edits at Rossa (singer). Putting random phrases in bold text is not acceptable practice. Please read the Manual of Style before editing further. If I can help, please let me know. But please don't just keep resubmitting the same error-filled changes - they will continue to be removed. Thank you, Jessicapierce (talk) 17:23, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
Good Article icon
[edit]Hello! Please don't add the Good Article icon to articles that haven't gone through the Good Article nomination process, as you did at Rossa (singer). If you believe that that article now satisfies the Good Article criteria, then feel free to nominate it for a review. Thanks! -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 13:14, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
- Hello! I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions has been undone because it added the Good Article template to Rossa (singer), an article that has not been promoted by the Good Article Nomination process. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Good Article Nominations talk page. Thank you. -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 20:55, 7 November 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello BlackLuster. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Rossa (singer), gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:BlackLuster. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=BlackLuster|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Since you are holding yourself out as owning an image that appears on Rossa's website, you need to explain what your professional relationship is with Rossa. —C.Fred (talk) 11:28, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:ROSSA QUEEN OF POP INDONESIA WITH IRIS VAN HERPEN PHOTO BY HENDRA KUSUMA.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:ROSSA QUEEN OF POP INDONESIA WITH IRIS VAN HERPEN PHOTO BY HENDRA KUSUMA.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 14:40, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Rossa 25 Years Concert in RCTI.JPG
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Rossa 25 Years Concert in RCTI.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHPoJ_ym7pg. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
