There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, If you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. Request reason:

Dea Sir/Madam: This is the Website of a public university and we are using Wikipedia to introduce the University. We are not using Wikipedia for advertising or promotion. We are not using Wikipedia for personal interest. So, would you please unblock us?

Decline reason:

Organizations (including universities) are not allowed to have accounts at the English Wikipedia - accounts here are for individuals only, and group accounts ("we") are prohibited. And individuals are not allowed to have usernames representing (or appearing to represent) organizations. So please make a new request, following the instructions in the block message, and in that request please choose a username that does not represent your university. Also, please assure us that only one individual will use this account, and please address the other points in the block message. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:08, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Dear Sir/Madam: Thank you very much for your kind response. I am terribly sorry for my mistake and lack of attention. I am sending this email to kindly ask you replace the previous username with this new one and unblock the account. I do promise to personally use the account and obey the guidelines and policies set by Wikipedia. My personal email is mrrezaeiand@gmail.com. Thank you very much again and I do apologize for the inconvenience I accidentally made. Sincerely Yours, M. R. Rezaeian

Decline reason:

This is not an email. Also, you forgot to tell us what you'll write about instead, now that you know you won't be writing about your university. Yamla (talk) 10:16, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Dear Sir/Madam: Thank you very much for your response. I do not know what is wrong and I am kindly asking for your help. Almost all universities all over the world have a page in Wikipedia which provides information about their university. I want to complete the information already available about the University of Birjand, the Islamic Republic of Iran. I would very highly appreciate it if you could help me and let me know what is wrong. Yours Sincerely

Decline reason:

The problem is that you have disregarded several Wikipedia policies including conflict of interest and paid editing. It is not accurate to say "all universities all over the world have a page in Wikipedia which provides information about their university"; some universities have articles about them on Wikipedia that summarize what independent reliable sources state about them. Wikipedia has no interest in what an article subject wants to say about itself. As you have been told, you will not be allowed to edit about your university. If you want to edit about another subject as a general, individual Wikipedia contributor, you will need to tell us what that might be and agree to not edit about your university. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 19:18, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
