Aaron Gillespie
The Aaron Gillespie article has been requested for speedy deletion. Please voice your opinion here. — ŁittleÄlien¹8² (talk\contribs) 00:31, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
Hello, SilverOrion! you recently removed Aux88 from the Electro Music article. I know there are a lot of problems with people adding themselves or their favourite artists that not necessarily belong. Aux88, however, is an important part of the scene, so I took the liberty to re-add his name. Respectfully, Sebisthlm (talk) 16:35, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hello again! That was some swift action, creating the article to avoid that red link. But then again, I also thought that only red link stuck out like a sore thumb, which I'm guessing was a reason why you removed it in the first place. I had actually been meaning to create it myself, but it seems hard to write about musicians if you don't stick to mainstream music. I had a lot of trouble convincing people that John Dahlbäck was a notable musician, when he probably is a lot better known than Aux 88. Good work! Sebisthlm (talk) 12:53, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Aux 88

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Non-dropframe (talk) 01:49, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:StyleWarsscreenshot.png
Thanks for uploading Image:StyleWarsscreenshot.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

ABBA section removal
Could you wander back over to Talk:ABBA and explain more precisely what you want to do and why? I don't think you want the See also section to go, but not sure. (John User:Jwy talk)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Xeo-Genetic, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/artist/album/0,,376045,00.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 02:00, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
Please check my comment on the van Dokkum page. Best Regards, Lofzang22 THanks for your comment: Please read my comment; i included the necessary link to proof that this site is total nonsense! Edited the Page about Austria and completed some Facts
As history Student and Native Austrian I missed some details and facts about Austria that had to be added and some facts to be corrected. An important mistake I found more than one time, was saying somethings came from Bavaria or Bavarian cuisine, thats simply incorrect. Austria is a neighbour to Bavaria since early times but copletely different in heritage and culture, from outside it Austrian and Bavarian cultures may look similiar or even the Slang spoken may sound the same for somebody that lives outside Bavaria or Austria but that isn´t true. And if you read somewhere that Austrian Slang is a Bavarian Dialect, such an article comes from the time between 1938-1945 and is incorrect. Most austrian traditions are connected to other parts of former Austro-Hungarian Empire, such as the austrian citizens are, to be understand correctly Austria is a multicultural and multiethnic Country sharing the same past with its neighbours. Article about religion had to be changes to be correct, such as Articles about Cuisine etc. I didn´t add a fact that couldn´t be prooved. And as it should be clear there is a problem in every translation or translated facts, the human factor and the time wich a resoure dates back. to proof look at [[1]] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xandl Hofer (talk • contribs) 18:54, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

Dear Silver Orion! Thank You for your critic, I will try not to talk too much in future Edits. My English may not be perfect for sure, but I´ll give my best. If you fix my english writing it will be fine, but please try to keep the informations and terms I added in.

de-linking Knoxville City-County Building
The reason that I had created a red link for Knoxville City-County Building is that there someday will be an article for this building, and we won't have to re-link it. Also, perhaps someone will see the red link and it will motivate them to research the topic and write a stub article about it. See Wikipedia:Red link. --rogerd (talk) 14:44, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Justice & Kaos
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Justice & Kaos, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. I think you'll find most people in Ireland have heard of him. MidnightBlue (Talk) 12:12, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- (copied from my Talk)I'll add further info in due course; maybe other editors will as well. I just added some initial info to get the article started. He was previously a "redlink" on an article about People of the Year Awards winners. Cheers, MidnightBlue (Talk) 12:19, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
I added 2 references. do you think it's better? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cdseditions (talk • contribs) 12:28, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah thats perfect as it asserts notability. Cheers. -SilverOrion (You talk way too much!)
Kirknewton railway station
Could I request someone takes my edits and alters them slightly as I am not happy for them to remain as is and cannot alter them without revertion or because of blocked IP Forthbridge (talk) 15:02, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- Ok here goes: It was myself who added the comments regarding Kirknewton Railway Station's name, and the information regarding the comments. I wished to retract the reference to the book, (Shaw) as it contains no reference to the NER Cornhill branch.
The Station was called Midcalder and Kirknewton originally, Midcalder until the late 1970s, and was renamed Kirknewton by British Railways. It was not known simply as Kirknewton as there was another Kirknewton Station on the Cornhill on Tweed Line.
I had attempted to remove the statements, and write a new piece omitting the incorrect reference, but before I was able to it was reverted. Does this explain things? In any event, I have alerted you to the error, so if you see fit you may or may not alter it. Forthbridge (talk) 15:11, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
