No Fangirlism, Please

[edit]

Title says it all folks, we don't need to know that you met him or you think he is "hot." Jaredpaik 04:08, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

That is so true, I am sick of that. 750hgn1md4 (talk) 09:51, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Speedy Deletion

[edit]

Oppose - Yes, this article is messy and could use a substantial amount of work. But, it is definitely not "blatant advertising." This article should not be deleted.ŁittleÄlien¹8² (talk\contribs) 00:19, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose - The article does not appear to be overly promotional, although the "equipment" section should be removed.--SilverOrion (talk) 01:36, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose- Sorry it took so long, just got my internet up and running. But anyway, this article needs more work, not deleted. I do agree with SilverOrion about the "equipment" section though. Emo777 (talk) 06:29, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think the equipment section should be deleted. Personally, as a drummer, I like to look up other drummers and see what sizes, brand, heads, etc that they use. It's good information, not advertisement. I don't know how to sign... Regards, Alex Fraley — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.91.82.30 (talk) 15:17, 28 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Aaron Gillesie Commented about his future: "I'm hoping to release the next Almost album and tour, also I would like to have some kid soon...I don't know I just feel like it's finally the right time." Were looking forward to the news. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.39.20.50 (talkcontribs)

Amazing how oddly enough you don't have a source for any of this. - GunMetal Angel 21:12, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Many weird things said here. Let's go through line by line:

  • Obviously he has friends and family.
  • If he was not close and personal with his wife, that wouldn't be normal.
  • Do you have a source for the dogs?
  • The fact that Aaron is pale, chubby, and tender is not at all notable.
  • Do you have a source for the eyes?
  • Do you have a source for the quote?

What Are "Clean Vocals"?

[edit]

No explanation here or on the Underoath page. I'm not really familiar with Gillespie or his former band, actually, but I came across these articles and I'm a little mystified by the terminology, which I have never heard before. "Clean" as in "no swearing"? Or "clean" as in "no screaming"? No distortion? Somebody should address this.

There are a lot of other things that need to be addressed - the article reads like it was written by a middle-school fan, for starters - but the "clean vocals" thing was what struck me first. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.52.131.156 (talk) 02:15, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I'm pretty sure clean vocals is a common term meaning no screaming like normal singing Tyler John (talk) 04:29, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
