Attribution
[edit]From WP:NOATT:
"Not everything copied from one Wikipedia page to another requires attribution. If the re-user is the sole contributor of the text at the other page, attribution is not necessary. Content rewritten in one's own words does not need attribution. However, duplicating material by other contributors that is sufficiently creative to be copyrightable under US law (as the governing law for Wikipedia) requires attribution.
As guidance, none of the following require attribution when copied within Wikipedia:
- Common expressions and idioms;
- Basic mathematical and scientific formulae;
- Citations and references;
- Material that has been deleted in full, with no copy kept on the public wiki.
However, attributing the first two is encouraged.
Quotes from external sources do not need to be attributed to the original Wikipedia contributor, although any text surrounding them would be, and the original source must still be cited. However, even though attribution is not required in these cases, including a link is often useful."
In conclusion, I was wrong and I apologize for that. However, you did seem to have also copied the other changes I made to S.L. Benfica, and in that case, you should have given attribution, e.g. "copied from S.L. Benfica". SLBedit (talk) 18:50, 2 August 2022 (UTC)
- @SLBedit: It’s okay. It wasn’t my attention to copy your work. In my point of view, every contributions that I made aren’t of my authority and none of editors authority. But I understand your contestation. But I just want to make sure I’m not here to stole people’s work or disrespect someone. I’m just here to contribute to Wikipedia. You recent reverts
[edit]Why do you keep reverting my edits? You first updated the stats while the a whole half was unplayed. The undo button should only be used to oppose clear vandalism. Your behaviour is totally unacceptable. Sakiv (talk) 21:33, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Sakiv: Dude just chill. What I did was updating the stats in the middle of the game. So what? Santa Claus will put me on the naughty list? I just changed the number of appearances and goals of each player. As you used the undo button, that means you classified my edit as vandalism. Alright, I am a good guy so I accepted your revert because of my first edit so I waited for the whistle to make the changes. Do I classify my first edit as vandalism? Absolutely not, but I accept it. Now the second revert is absolutely no sense. I did what you said to me, and you still reverted it? Are you kidding me? I hope it’s a misunderstanding. I don’t wanna make “enemies” here but I just want to clarify to you that I’m not here to vandalize, I’m here to edit and help Wikipedia. So I ask to you for more respect of my work and I will respect yours. Thank you. BigLordFlash (talk) 22:05, 5 August 2022 (UTC)

CNMall41 (talk) 19:49, 6 January 2023 (UTC)CN overload
[edit]Hello BigLord! I noticed that in this series of edits, you added a whole bunch of {{citation needed}} tags. I feel that a lot of these aren't appropriate since not every single little thing needs a citation. For example, you have a CN tag after "He is Mario's yellow-and-purple clad arch-rival." for Wario. You do not need a citation here as him wearing yellow and purple is evident just from the image. Arch-rival might have needed a reference, but I don't think it was really appropriate to add citation needed tags. However, some of the things you tagged can be seen by playing the games themself, in which a citation isn't required as the game itself is the citation. I'm not saying the entire list doesn't need citations because not everything is easily seen in the games. But some of the things you added do not need citations. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 01:20, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
- @Blaze Wolf: Ok! I didn't know about that. Thanks for the information. BigLordFlash (talk) 13:32, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
- No problem! There's also WP:BLUESKY which isn't policy but is still something to keep in mind. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 13:49, 7 April 2023 (UTC)

December 2023
[edit]Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Jauerbackdude?/dude. 13:52, 5 December 2023 (UTC)

MCU music page
[edit]Hey thanks for starting those phase drafts. It's been on the very back burner for me for a while now to look at the main music page. I do agree it is too big and in need of a restructure. I don't know if that's necessarily splitting off content by phase, or just a top down reimagining of what the music article is and what info we have on it. Might need to move this to the music talk page if it goes anywhere, but happy to consider that if this is something you felt you'd like to chip away at. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 19:23, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Favre1fan93: Yes we should start discussing this in the music article talk page because the article is messed up and we are starting to candidate good topics and it's important to start looking to the soundtrack articles. In my opinion, splitting them in phases it's the best option because there are a lot of content/sources to be used for each phase. I started restructuring the article in my sandbox, so if you are interesting to look at it and give your opinion, I would appreciate it :) BigLordFlashtalk 20:50, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Music of the Marvel Cinematic Universe into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 21:51, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
