Speedy deletion nomination of Page to be moved

[edit]

Hello Bgrus22,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Page to be moved for deletion, because it seems to be a test. Did you know that the Wikipedia Sandbox is available for testing out edits?

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Parmenion, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Attalus.

G6 tagging

[edit]

In the future, please specify what article you are planning to move to the location you are tagging for G6, as otherwise it's quite difficult to figure it out. Luckily I was able to tell from your editing history, but if the article to be moved hadn't been an article you had edited recently it would have been harder, and may have resulted in the deletion request being declined. signed, Rosguill talk 02:31, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Rosguill: Thank you for helping out and educating me, but would it be a disambiguation page? I thought it would be like a surname main page or even a list ultimately. Bgrus22 (talk) 03:14, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
eh, it's a gray area that IMO doesn't matter all that much unless you have sources to provide information about the name. If you want to be super precise about it, you can swap the {{disambiguation}} for {{Disambiguation|surname}} to reclassify it. signed, Rosguill talk 03:17, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Yehezkel Abramsky, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dayan. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:10, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Awais Khan response

[edit]

Sorry for taking so long, and I didn't mean to be rude by posting on here also, just didn't know of you knew of WP:NCYC, or if you would see the response of the AFD either. Sorry if I came off as rude, and thanks for alerting me that the article was so low quality, helped us to improve it a lot.--Seacactus 13 (talk) 16:44, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Seacactus 13: Its fine, and yeah the current version is a great upgrade. Also while looking around I found a wikipage that stated notoriety is not time dependent, if it meets the criteria once it always merits it apparently! I might give it a try to improve similar articles myself! Bgrus22 (talk) 18:45, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Awais Khan

[edit]

I added sources, he easily passes WP:NCYC for competing in the UCI World Championships. Next time, read the notability guidelines. Please remove the AfD.--Seacactus 13 (talk) 22:39, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Seacactus 13: I have responded to you on the appropriate discussion page, I would recommend that you keep discussions there and not be so dismissive of people's concerns regarding making this website the best it can be, thank you for your concern and have a great day!
