Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:17, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Benpring112,
Please sign all of your talk page comments, otherwise, editors have to go look at the page history to find out who left a comment. Using four tildes will leave your name and the date and the time of your comment. See the end of this message for my signature.
If you have any questions about editing on Wikipedia, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:19, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your suggestion for Mark Randall (footballer). When you believe an article needs improvement, please feel free to change it. We encourage you to be bold in updating pages, because wikis like ours develop faster when everybody edits. Don't worry too much about making honest mistakes—they're likely to be found and corrected quickly. You can always preview your edits before you publish them or test them out in your sandbox. If you need additional help, check out our getting started page or ask the friendly folks at the Teahouse. Don't just delete it, find a reliable source to back up it up and include that he was found not guilty. Mako001 (C)  (T)  22:08, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Benpring112 (talk) 22:21, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Mako001, it's on one of the references attached that he's not guilty. It's pointless being on there seeing as it can tarnish his name if read incorrectly. I would like it removed imminently please as it really does serve no purpose and can only effect his name in a negative way.

Thanks

Benpring112 (talk) 14:49, 18 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again @Mako001, please can you confirm that this has been removed?

Hello, Benpring112

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Joseywales1961, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Kobe Chong, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Joseywales1961}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Notice

The article Kobe Chong has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I agree that this doesn't currently pass either guideline yet.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
