[edit] This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did to Keilor Downs, Victoria, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. I've given you the final warning as it is clear that you also edited under the IP 124.191.64.46 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) Bidgee (talk) 09:58, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
{{Unblock on hold|1=Graeme Bartlett|2=The previous information for Keilor Downs was incorrect, false and misleading, I was trying to correct it, the information I posted was from the Keilor Historical society, however I was blocked and it was deleted before I was given the opportunity to reference it. You had no right to block me for trying to make a correction.|3=I'm going to ask the blocking admin to clarify the reason for this block, as it's not readily apparent from your edits. I recommend you find references and post them here in the meantime. -- zzuuzz (talk) 10:35, 17 January 2010 (UTC)}}
Here is the web address for the Keilor Historical society http://home.vicnet.net.au/~khis/index.html. I note that Graeme Bartlett states that he is from Canberra which is in another state of Australia, I sincerely doubts that he knows anything about Keilor or its neighbouring suburbs http://home.vicnet.net.au/~khis/index.html Keilor is in the state of Victoria NOT the ACT where Graeme Bartlett claims to come from.
- We are all on the same playing field when it comes to Wikipedia policies. Given the reason for the block you are either a banned editor (which I don't see evidence of but we have to check), or you were blocked for creating an account after using an IP address. We have a policy about the latter, though I don't think it applies in this case.. I notice you were previously reverted and warned by a relatively inexperienced editor but you appear to have completely ignored what was being said to you. Unfortunately Wikipedia is full of unencyclopaedic nonsense in some places, which I note you've removed[1] but when it comes to adding content these days we are looking for verifiability. That makes edits such as this inappropriate. It looks like Graeme Bartlett is currently unavailable, so it may take a little time to hear back from him. I suggest you spend the time showing how you've understood policies such as WP:V and WP:NOR. If you can provide some more specific referencing, or show that you understand which edits are unverifiable, then we can go from there. -- zzuuzz (talk) 12:57, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
How can I add the references when everything that I posted has been removed? I was still working on it and saving the draft/s as I went, but now that it has been removed how can I possibly insert the reference points? Keilor Downs is an extension of Taylors Lakes and they share the same postcode, both are relatively new extenstions of the historic suburb of Keilor. I was trying to update the information on all three pages because they are all related. Historical information is historical and thus obtained from the Keilor Historical Society. The present statistical information regarding median house prices for all three suburbs is incorrect and outdated. Also the median for Keilor Downs is not statistically reliable because of the tiny amount of properties listed for sale. The present references relate to a small real estate website which offers biased information which is both outdated and contridicts other more extensive real estate websites. In addition the ethnic composition is 65% Australian born, with less than 2% Turkish, Bosinian an so on. What is the time limit imposed for updating information? I was blocked within a few minutes of receiving the intial warning, yet the amount of information I was updating was volumous and I was given no opportunity to even finish what I writing yet alone add references. It is disappointing that Wikipedia presents unreliable information on the internet and its administrators block people when they try to correct it. Does anyone at Wikipedia actually bother to check that the information or references are correct? Clearly Wikipedia is totally unreliable and allows anyone to edit pages at anytime without references being verified, it appears minor changes are ignored by administrators thus allowing people to write offensive, racist, and untruths on any page they like. It appears Wikipedia provides misleading, incorrect and outdated information and should therefore be removed from the internet. Regards Beemababy
- Wikipedia is a crazy place, and there's a whole load that doesn't make sense - in fact is barely under any control at all. If you use an edit summary to explain what you're doing while you're editing then you'll have a smoother experience. Take some note of what I said above, but don't take it too seriously. Drop by my talk page if you ever want any help. Happy editing. -- zzuuzz (talk) 15:04, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you delete or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Keilor Downs, Victoria, you will be blocked from editing. Please stop your disruptive edits! I have no problem if your going to correct and cite content but removing content (even unsourced) which out any reason or discussion is totally unhelpful. Using your IP then your account does not give you any more revert rights nor does it mean that you can make more then 3 reverts. Bidgee (talk) 08:20, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
A note
[edit]Please stop. Your edits at Keilor Downs, Victoria break down references and are deleting cited information. Do discuss your changes at talk pages before introducing them into the article. Materialscientist (talk) 08:30, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
I am merely updating the information so it is correct. Regards Beemababy
