Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Abellio ScotRail, appears to have been inappropriate, and has been reverted. Please feel free to use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. HST is classified as loco + coaches, not as DEMU, and your edits also broke formatting of the table. David Biddulph (talk) 09:26, 1 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Abellio ScotRail, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. David Biddulph (talk) 09:31, 1 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Abellio ScotRail. Please read what you've been told. David Biddulph (talk) 09:36, 1 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Things you need to learn. You need to understand how not to break the formatting of tables. Read the advice at Help:Table, and when you are editing, check with "Show preview" before you save. Also, if you don't understand how HSTs are classified, read British Rail Classes 253, 254 and 255 and other articles on the subject, and look at how they are treated for other operators of the HST. --David Biddulph (talk) 09:52, 1 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:Beatlescat Walrus/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Minor edits

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. --David Biddulph (talk) 01:28, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Caledonian Sleeper, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page British Rail Mark 5 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

I just undid your edit because it did something odd with the unit numbers - formatting them as telephone numbers. You might want to take a look at the text editor you are using. 10mmsocket (talk) 09:53, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from ScotRail Trains into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. I reverted your edit for two reasons - one because it has zero citations and the other because there was not attribution given for the text copied from another article. 10mmsocket (talk) 12:05, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
