[edit]

Hello,

Thanks for checking these. Could you possibly specify on their discussion pages what needs to be improved.Chidgk1 (talk) 20:09, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Energy infrastructure in Barbados requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Notice

The file File:Richard Morningstar.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Requested edit on IDT page

[edit]

Hello Beagel - When I first signed up for wikipedia, you helpfully provided guidance. If contacting you isn't the right way to address my concern, please let me know how to handle.

On the IDT Corp page: [1]

As disclosed, I work for IDT.

On the IDT page, a contributor added a 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic section with the content as follows:

On April 20th, during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, IDT Corporation applied for and received a loan of US$10 million as part of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). On April 26th, 2020, due to criticism of large companies who were wrongly accessing the loan program intended to help small businesses, IDT announced that they would return the loan.

The citations are correct and I have no problems with the facts, but the clause, "due to criticism of large companies who were wrongly accessing the loan program intended to help small businesses", which is inconsistent with IDT's stated reasons in the references cited and inconsistant with the facts. I'd like to delete that clause.

What is the proper way to handle? Thanks Beagel! Wbulrey (talk) 15:19, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I dont think that I have problem with TPAO as a new title but whom can type turkish and thats why I moved it to Turkish Petroleum Corporation. It has been a common name amongst articles related to the company/corporation so I made a decision to move it to that new title. You may move it to TPAO but not to its previous name or Turkiye Petroleri AO.

I want stand versus the WP:COMMONNAME policy as there are two common names: TPAO and Turkish Petroleum Corporation.

Hello Beagel. I heard that the bot operated by Wbm1058 (talk · contribs) will move it presumably on seven days. I tried of translating it and it translated= Turkey Petroleum Corporation. If it is incorrect, we should move it to TPAO. Lets hope tomorrow it will be moved. --ANONYMOUS USER2003 (talk) 19:12, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My bot doesn't move pages; the editor who closes the discussion per WP:RMCI moves the page. Generally, discussions are allowed to run for at least seven days before being closed. – wbm1058 (talk) 19:36, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
