Circuit maps

Hi Bbb2007,

I noticed that you recently made some changes to 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship in which you added this image of the Circuit Paul Ricard:

According to the licencing information, you uploaded this image. Did you make this, or did you simply upload it?

I ask because I have noticed that many of the circuit maps use very different styles and it has been an ambition of mine for some time (five years, in fact) to try and create a uniform style for circuit maps. Here are some examples of what I am talking about:

Normally, I'd go ahead and make new diagrams myself; unfortunately, I don't have the necessary skills to do it. I wouldn't ask you to do it alone, of course, but I would like to propose this at the F1 WikiProject. To answer your question, yes I did create the Paul Ricard map myself, although it was only a quick effort based off of the one on the F1 website that I made in 15 minutes in Photoshop! Creating maps isn't really my area as I don't really have the time, skills or the correct software to make one of the proper circuit maps like the ones above, so this is only intended to be a temporary version until a proper vector map in the correct style is created instead.

I agree with your point on making the layouts more consistent but I suppose some users will have different views on how they should be displayed, but I'm fine with you submitting your proposal to WP:F1 if you think it's worth it. I suppose either yourself or another user could do a better job of it than me!

What are you talking about iTunes 12.9 does not exist yet in a stable release.

It appears iTunes 12.9 was released on 12 September, but only for Windows. The latest Mac version appears to still be 12.8, so there seems to be some discrepancy with the most recent versions available. (I don't own a Mac therefore I wasn't aware of this) Perhaps once Mojave is released next week, then the update will be released for macOS. [1] Bbb2007 (talk) 22:47, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
