Hi Basslonick1220! Question about another account

[edit]

Hi, Basslonick1220. Following up on your request at WP:ANI, could you please tell me what your relation is to the account Altwjh? It was blocked on 27 September 2021, a week before the Basslonick1220 account was created. Is Altwjh also your account? Or did you otherwise create the Basslonick1220 account in response to the block of the previous account that also promoted the CRA International company? Bishonen | tålk 03:09, 7 January 2022 (UTC).[reply]

And answer came there none. I'm more interested in a complaint about an editor who hasn't edited since October. This could be seen as an intimidation attempt. Doug Weller talk 17:00, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Doug Weller: Actually, I already answered on ANI, where Bishonen originally posted this question. I am not this other editor -- User:AltWjh. The insertion of a highly-biased and inaccurate attack as the second sentence of the lead (positioned so the biased statement appears on page 1 of Google Search results) is going to attract the attention of more than one person at a large public company. For your own edification, Snoogans has made four additions to the CRA page, each of which is either a distortion, highly biased, unduly weighted or a WP policy violation in some other way. So far, after each of these statements is removed by a non-COI editor, Snoogans responds by adding a new, equally problematic statement [1] or two [2], also pushing a POV. Two have been removed so far, and two more have yet to be addressed. I can only hope the situation will not continue to cycle in this way. Basslonick1220 (talk) 17:50, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't think you were, just that you should have answered it here. No one is going to sanction an editor for an edits that old. Maybe if he'd been editing this year. Doug Weller talk 17:52, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Not picking a side whatsoever but in all fairness, they were asked the same question at the ANI discussion one minute before here on their talk page. They may have thought it more prudent to answer there. --ARoseWolf 17:57, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Good point. Doug Weller talk 19:23, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in climate change. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.  Bishonen | tålk 08:15, 8 January 2022 (UTC).[reply]
