aviation24.be

[edit]

Hi. You seem to be favouring the use of this one website in your additions

  • 40 records; Editors who have added aviation24.be: Bart Luchtzak (37), Wind of freedom (2), Matthi99 (1).
  • 40 records; Domains added by Bart Luchtzak: aviation24.be (37), luchtzak.be (2), flightlevel.be (1).

and you have only made about 40-50 edits special:centralauth/Bart Luchtzak

I would like to point you to Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and Wikipedia:Reliable sources and ask that you review your additions against these criteria. I would think that you should be declaring any interest that exists with you and the websites which you may be adding to Wikipedia (here at enWP or at nlWP). Thanks. — billinghurst sDrewth 08:08, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear, other wikipedia members have entered those url's, not entirely me. I did alter the url's from luchtzak.be to aviation24.be as the website changed names but I never added to advertise, just to inform.

Linking to your own website is not a good idea, for whatever reason. If you think it's a valid resource, use the article's talk page to propose linking to it, and leave it to uninvolved editors to assess whether that link would really be an improvement. Thanks for your reply, I would like to explain what happened. I have never added an article from the website to Wikipedia, other wikipedia users did. But recently the website url has been changed, hence I changed the url's on wikipedia to the correct article-link.

That's not correct. That said, even if you merely wanted to update the URL, it would still be a good idea not to do so yourself to avoid the impression of impropriety. Huon (talk) 13:53, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Aviation24.be requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
