German AfD

[edit]

Thanks for the heads-up. Unfortunately though, German isn't one of my languages.  :/ Can you provide a translation? --Elonka 16:10, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Filecasa, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:Filecasa. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. Vgranucci 15:24, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Filecasa.com

[edit]
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Filecasa.com, by Vgranucci (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Filecasa.com is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Filecasa.com, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Filecasa.com itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 18:10, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Biblical people in Christianity

[edit]

I really don't understand what is he purpose of the article Biblical people in Christianity, which you started. Aren't all Biblical people are "in Christianity"? Please explain why you think we need the article, otherwise I will propose it for deletion. - Fayenatic london (talk) 14:54, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Because Talk:Biblical people in Christianity. -- Bapho 22:51, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, no offence intended, but I still don't get it. I've proposed deletion. Fayenatic london (talk) 23:21, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No prob, but how do I get to the debate? -- Bapho 00:06, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've changed the deletion process to WP:AFD and now there is a discussion at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Biblical_people_in_Christianity, where you can explain it. Fayenatic london (talk) 06:33, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mi2g

[edit]
The article Mi2g has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 13:32, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Conference hall

[edit]
An editor has nominated Conference hall, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Conference hall and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 02:59, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Wikiwix

[edit]

The article Wikiwix has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable (No reliable sources support inclusion), notability tag has been up since April 2009 with no effort made to provide any saving grace. Therefore I suggest deletion via PROD as a courtesy to those who might expand and establish notability but haven't for whatever reason.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
