Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Santali language, with this edit without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 06:39, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Image without license

Thanks for uploading File:OL ONAL script (writing Bhumij language ).jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 06:45, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Take a break

[edit]

You really need to stop trying to drop your text onto whatever page happens to come to hand, as you did in this edit to Wikipedia:Categorization (and previously here and here). While I don't believe your intent is malicious, your editing is disruptive and if you continue, you will be blocked. Also, I have removed the article content from this talk page, as this talk page is not intended as a place to develop your article content but rather as a place for you and other editors to interact, and the presence of that text distracted from the clean flow of interaction. A tag has been placed on File:Ol ONAL script (writing of Bhumij language ) 2014-05-30 15-21.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Duplicate images

[edit]

You keep creating duplicate images with different filenames. Why?

The files have been tagged as possible copyright problems, because you haven't specified a source. The program (bot) that tags these files does not recognize that they are simple depictions of a particular language's alphabet, and thus are not subject to copyright protection. I have labeled the images with the appropriate public domain tag to avoid this problem, but we really only need one copy of the image. The others should probably be deleted. The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/File:Logo of Bhumij Language logo.jpeg until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Public domain www.bhumij.com, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.bhumij.com/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) A tag has been placed on Bhumijri language, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Final warning

[edit]

Hi BHUMIJ LANGUAGE. Your edits up to this point in time are disruptive and a drain on community resources, with no useful edits to balance that equation. I'm not sure any of them have been fueled by bad intent, but competence is required in editing.

As far as I can tell, every single edit you have ever made to Wikipedia has had to be reverted, or the page created/file uploaded, deleted, with those actions and resulting discussions, and the warnings and notices posted above, all reflecting other people using their time to address them. Additionally, some of your edits are not "just" a time drain, but are potentially hurtful to the project, such as the multiple copyright violations you've posted.

For these reasons, I am putting you on notice that any further edits that are disruptive will subject you to an immediate and indefinite block from further editing.

Non-exhaustive examples of problem edits include:
  • The copyright infringement of earlier today at Bhumijri language—where the ripped content, inappropriate for other reasons [as tagged above as blatantly promotional], was even pasted here with the source's "All rights reserved", non-free copyright notice intact;
  • Other copyright violations such as Public domain www.bhumij.com (deleted on other grounds, but which was copied from here);
  • Files uploaded without any information, thus standing as putative copyvios, and necessitating a files for deletion discussion;
  • Your blanking of an article here;
  • The necessity of deleting your userpage four times for its misuse; and
  • Of course, there's the multiple times you've indiscriminately inserted content into locations where it has no connection and did not belong, such as here, here, here and here.
