Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Megamindcorp, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page 2001 Bangladeshi-Indian border skirmish, have removed content without an explanation. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.
If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia:

Your username
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created M. Zahid Hasan, and I noticed that your username, "Megamindcorp", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".
Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a change of username, by completing this form, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 13:52, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Aziz Tarak., and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Draft:Causes of Islamic Terrorism have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TonyBallioni (talk) 21:37, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

MfD nomination of Draft:Causes of Islamic Terrorism
[edit]Draft:Causes of Islamic Terrorism, a page which you created or substantially contributed to (or which is in your userspace), has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Causes of Islamic Terrorism and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Draft:Causes of Islamic Terrorism during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. [edit]Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Wikipedia:Requests_for_page_protection. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Mifter (talk) 01:23, 6 June 2017 (UTC)

Poorly-sourced content
[edit]What is your source for the boundaries depicted in this map: File:Map of-Bengal-326-bc-gangaridai.svg? Please do not add it to Wikipedia articles without providing a source. utcursch | talk 14:35, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
- Same goes for your other maps -- you cannot just make up boundaries. Please provide reliable sources for your changes. utcursch | talk 15:01, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
- In this edit, you did provide a source, but the source (page 135 of D. C. Sircar's book does not seem to support the statement you added. Please provide correct page number or correct content. utcursch | talk 15:29, 9 August 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Zamzam well. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Sources must discuss the medial properties of the water from the well. Doug Weller talk 18:55, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
@Doug Weller: Plese let me know why a National Center for Biotechnology Information, U.S. published journal is not a reliable source? , Then which site is reliable for this kind of scientific observation. Fox News ? Aziz Tarak. (talk) 19:23, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 14
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited United Bengal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page King George (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
