2017 Copa de la Reina de Baloncesto

[edit]

Hola Gonzaka,

Regarding the qualified teams for the 2017 Copa de la Reina de Baloncesto, given that it is a competition that qualifies from another at a specific moment, I would see it better to see the full status of the League at the moment of qualification, and not only the 6 qualified teams, such as in 2015 Copa de la Reina de Baloncesto (where there was the condition of host). I likewise think that for the 2016 Cup -moreover given the controversy that happened- should be listed fully, however I wanted to check if there was a specific policy on the reason of your change :-) Thanks and happy new year --Maku17 (talk) 10:37, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

2016–17 Basketball Champions League Play-offs

[edit]

Could you please tell me why you undid the changes I made? I took the dates from Basketball CL official website and corrected it according to that website. You had no reason to undid it. Omerlaziale (talk) 02:54, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

LNFA 2017

[edit]

Hola Asturkian,

Saludos.

Iker Muniain

[edit]

Hi, hopefully you can help me about this issue. Muniain was supposed to be suspended on matchday 37 (vs Leganes), after receiving 5th yellow card last week (vs Alaves), but he appeared in the starting lineup today. I checked his disciplinary record (see the link below)...
http://www.laliga.es/jugador/muniain/partidos/disciplina
...and found out that one of his yellow cards had disappeared. It was the match against Osasuna.
http://www.laliga.es/directo/temporada-2016-2017/laliga-santander/10/athletic_osasuna
http://actas.rfef.es/actas/RFEF_CmpPartido?cod_primaria=1000144&CodActa=37367
I do not know what happened with that yellow card (see the disciplinary record again, you can see that it does not recognize the booking he got on matchday 10 against Osasuna). Since you seem to watch Spanish football closely, I hope you could find me any article and/or announcement, in English or Spanish, which explains this situation. Maybe that yellow card was taken back by officials, but I (and many other people) knew nothing until now. There were many sources saying about Muniain's suspension.
Thanks for your help :) Centaur271188 (talk) 20:13, 14 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Map coordinate errors

[edit]

Hi, I recently fixed some coordinate errors in 2015–16 Tercera División and noticed you have a similar article in your sandbox. It has the same errors, which is causing it to be listed in Category:Location_maps_with_different_longitude_and_latitude_precisions. It looks like you will be moving this to article space in the future. I want to fix these errors - just checking with you first before I edit in your sandbox. MB 15:54, 16 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think it is fine to take the coordinates from the cities. The errors are caused when there is some inconsistency, such as a lat with degrees, minutes, seconds with a lon of only degrees, minutes. I will work on the errors as I have time in the next few days. MB 16:01, 16 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrolled granted

[edit]

Hi Asturkian, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! MusikAnimal talk 16:02, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

CF Promesas Ponferrada

[edit]

Please do not blank pages, as you did to CF Promesas Ponferrada, whatever the reason. Somebody will come to Wikipedia, find a blank page and wonder what on earth is going on. If an article is a duplicate of another, then redirect it. If you feel that an article doesn't belong on Wikipedia, then look at the deletion policy. If it indeed meets the criteria for deletion in your judgement, then nominate it as appropriate. Thank you. — Smjg (talk) 14:20, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Showteam table

[edit]

The top of the placement table in List of Levante UD Femenino seasons is out of balance because the qualification column was designed for a rowspan and here there's just one row. Additionally, the source link is broken. Wouldn't it be better to post the table extract manually like this? Pakhtakorienne (talk) 10:02, 7 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Women's Football / Soccer Task Force News: August 2017

Should the women's football task force become WikiProject: WOSO?

According to an op-ed in the recent Signpost, some editors think task forces and subgroups are dying in 2017.

What do you think about forming our own WikiProject separate from WP:FOOTY? There's an on-going discussion of the potential pros and cons on the task force talk page. Input is welcome.

Recent developments

New initiatives have been created for:

  • FA WSL (England's top-division league)
  • NCAA (American university teams, conferences, etc.)
  • W-League (Australia's top-division league)
Ongoing tournaments
Current and upcoming seasons for top-division leagues
Did you know?

While WP:FPL lists only two women's top-division leagues as notable due to its "fully professional" criteria, did you know you can create an article on any player in any league as long as the references meet WP:GNG guidelines? Make sure to tag the new article talk page with: {{WP Women's sport|footy=yes}}.

Have some new articles in mind or see some that need improvement? Add them to the Open Tasks page if you'd like and other editors may be able to help. Need tips, assistance, or resources from other WOSO editors? Leave a message on the task force talk page.

Thank you for your continued contributions to articles related to women's football / soccer (WOSO)!

Andorra footnote reference

[edit]

Just to let you know, I've restored the footnote reference you removed at Andorra. It may have looked like it was there by mistake, but it's a reference to a footnote at the bottom of the infobox. Largoplazo (talk) 09:51, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Camp d'Esports del M.I. Consell General

[edit]

Hola Asturkian,

I'm preparing to create the page of the Estadi Nacional (Andorra) on Chinese Wikipedia and I encounter a problem. I don't understand the old name Camp d'Esports del M.I. Consell General: What does "M.I." refers to? I searched for it on Google but get no satisfactory answer. Gracias.--如沐西风(RúMùXīFēng) (talk) 05:49, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

El Viejo Clásico

[edit]

Personally I'd not add Liga Española/Torneo de Campeones to the statistics as it's so obscure and isn't listed in the refs (apart from CIHEFE, but that only shows one match although the Spanish wiki (which is referenced much better than most of the pages there) says Athletic played Madrid twice! The Athletic Bilbao website lists the matches as friendlies (see here and seems to have even got the score of one fixture (Real Sociedad 3—3 / 3—2) wrong; normally that site is pretty reliable so maybe shows the club's level of interest in it.

My suggestion would be to add the scores as a note, and as you said, mention the matches in the history, after all it was a 'champions group' they were playing in. Crowsus (talk) 17:29, 14 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Color pattern

[edit]

Hi mate, how are you?

I'm trying to establish a standard to these colors, that's why I chose this green. In my sandbox there's a list of colors, and I used this one because there are some teams that used to play in the ninth, tenth divisions. Then, to keep'em all equally formatted, I established a "color ranking". Cheers, MYS77 16:01, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe this would be a better choice, I guess? That's a darker option, but still can be used as the seventh tier. MYS77 16:13, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks mate. I'm already updating the teams with this pattern. Cheers, happy week. MYS77 17:27, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
