Teatralna (Sofia Metro)
[edit]Why do you think Sofia is in Ukraine? Ymblanter (talk) 16:12, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- What change have I made that even suggests that? Astro.furball (talk) 16:21, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- Then I do not understand your move. Is the point that somewhere in Ukraine there is a metro station (or even a planned metro station - about which we should forget given the economical situation) and therefore the station should be moved to Teatralna (Sofia Metro)? Did it ever occur to you that we have certain standards for metro stations, and the move needs to be discussed first? Ymblanter (talk) 16:29, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
- There are two existing Teatralna stations with English Wikipedia articles, one in Kyiv and the other in Sofia, plus another planned one in Dnipro whose construction I'm aware has been frozen due to the invasion causing the foreign contractor to flee. When the one in Sofia opened, a user created the article for it at "Teatralna Metro Station", apparently unaware of the other two in Ukraine. Then in 2022 another user came along and removed the disambiguator from the Dnipro one, moving the article to "Teatralna metro station", also seemingly unaware of the other stations (and even betraying a lack of discussion/consultation). These moves correct those mistakes. If you're going to jump to lecture someone on a lack of knowledge or "standards" you are directing it at the wrong person. - I am going to revert it as undiscussed move and then if you want you open a RM. It is not obvious to me that you have chose the correct target. Ymblanter (talk) 16:52, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
