Our role as reviewers is to seek to ensure that an article will not immediately be subject to one of our deletion processes when it is accepted. That is why we push it back to the author. We want to accept articles.

Your role as a contributing editor is to make our job as reviewers easy. Given the choice, and knowing we have a large backlog, if you were a reviewer, would you choose to review 10 articles that are easy to review or one article where the author has not made it easy?

We do our very best to give you excellent advice. Folk don't get into reviewing unless they have a pretty good clue about what will make an article fly. Please take the advice you are given. We don't; do it just to upset you and make you jump through hoops. Fiddle Faddle 18:02, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/PortionScientist, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community. Worldbruce (talk) 23:45, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
